Scene 40 - Telephone

This scene fades in to a black talephone set placed on a table. The telephone is ringing. (Old school ring) Other than the ringing of the phone there is silence. The implication here is that Mary is calling home, but whether or not she reaches her mother, or what they might talk about, is an exercise left to the viewer.
