I just spoke with Joey Stec, who has been in collaboration with Joe
Foster of Creation Records in London. The Millennium II album is a
reality. Sixty reels of Millennium audio tape are on their way from
Nashville to London to be combed through and remastered. From this,
approximately a dozen tracks will be picked and blended into the new
album. It took thirty years and lots of work ... but its here
at last.
Millennium 2: The
Millennium Continues
The Millennium 2 album is
now a fact. This is a current project of Joey's and Joe Foster, of
Sonic Past Records, and will be released June 15, 2000 in Japan on
Polystar Records. The Millennium Continues CD is a compilation of
pre-production tracks of the Millennium at various Hollywood studios
in 1968 and 1969. The members of the Millennium were ...
Keith Olsen: world famous producer and bassist for The Music
Machine ...
Curt Boettcher: producer of The Association, Beach Boys, Tommy
Roe, etc ... founding member of Ballroom and The Millennium ...
Joey Stec: singer, songwriter and guitarist ... member of The
Millennium, Blues Magoos and solo artist ...
Michael Fennelly: singer, songwriter and guitarist ... founder
of, performer and writer for Crabby Appleton and has two solo albums
to his credit ...
Lee Mallory: renowned singer, songwriter and guitarist ...
Sandy Salisbury: singer, songwriter and guitarist ... formerly
with Boettcher's Ballroom ...
Ron Edgar: drummer and former member of The Music Machine
...
Doug Rhodes: bassist, organ player and former member of The
Music Machine with Keith Olsen and Ron Edgar ...
The Second
Millennium:
The Second Millennium is
to be released on Dreamsville Records in Japan on May 25th. The new
Millennium releases are preproduction demos recorded without the
harmonies of the Millennium Begin album, however the vibe...and the
members, including Curt, are all involved in the performance and
composition...a rather raw and basic view...
The Third
Millennium:
There will be a third
Millennium cd available in the UK on Poptones Records, released by
Allan Mcgee and Joe Foster. This should be available in September
2000. I'm not sure what it contains, but I will update this entry as
soon as I have the info.
