As promised, many of Fall Brawl's most noteworthy competitors used Thunder to
practice their wares and make a final statement. Along with a few exciting
matches, Buff Bagwell, Sid Vicious and Rick Steiner delivered some damage and
derogatory comments to the Saginaw, Mich. crowd.
But, as usual, it was Goldberg who spoke the loudest in the main event...

Buff Bagwell d. Barbarian, with Jimmy Hart
All-American Buff Bagwell curiously took this difficult match before his Fall
Brawl contest against Berlyn. Bagwell taunted Barbarian early in the bout,
only to incur the wrath and power of Hart's veteran charge. When Hart threw
an international object into the ring, the famous manager accidentally armed
Bagwell with a weapon, which lead to the defeat of his charge.

Hammer d. Blitzkreig
Hammer's power advantage was overwhelming from the bout's open. But, even
after Hammer delivered a debilitating series of gorilla slams and suplexes,
Blitzkreig still managed to score a few near-falls and wicked kicks. After
Hammer missed a second-rope leg drop, the cruiserweight gave his final run of
offense (including a suicide moonsalt), but still fell prey to the Hammer
Throw.
The Revolution (Perry Saturn, Chris Benoit and Shane Douglas) d. Steve Regal,
Dave Taylor and Chris Adams
The boys from Britain showed the fruits of their combined experience early in
the match. Using the flag pole and multiple gang attacks, Regal, Taylor and
Adams annihilated Douglas – until The Franchise made the all-important tag
to Benoit. Soon, all six men were rocking and socking. The U.S. Champion ended
the match after delivering his Headbutt Splash and Crippler Crossface to
Adams.

Kaz Hayashi d. Lodi, with Lenny
Despite offering a strong start, Hayashi spent most of the match on the mat,
reeling from a variety of Lodi lariats and bulldogs. But Hayashi continually
scored near-falls, escaped holds and foraged forward. Eventually, Lenny had
become a regular presence on the ring apron – but his constant interference
backfired. After bumping into the Cruiserweight Champion, Lodi was locked
into a schoolboy roll-up for the pin.

Sid Vicious d. Adrian Byrd and Bobby Blaze
Talk about devastating. Sid came, Sid saw and Sid left Byrd and Blaze bruised
and defeated. Post-match, Sid spoke about his dominance and quest to be The
Millennium Man.
The Revolution Interview
Dean Malenko came to the ring with Rick Steiner's TV Title draped across his
shoulder. The Revolution said they would not stop until they had all the
belts in WCW, and that the DFG could try to win his belt back that very
evening.
Booker T, with Stevie Ray d. Barry Windham, with Kendall Windham and Curt Hennig
Pre-match, Booker T took one of the title belts and commented on how well it
fit him. Kendall Windham offered an opening distraction, but Booker T quickly
rebounded from a Barry attack. Curt Hennig, however, managed do interfere
much more successfully. Booker T turned the momentum after ducking a lariat,
and delivering a Harlem Sidekick. When the former TV Champion attempted a
Missile Dropkick, Kendall openly interfered, forcing the disqualification.
Post-match, the Redneck brutalized Harlem Heat with kicks and the tag team
belts.
Dean Malenko d. Rick Steiner
TV Title Match
The DFG struck before the opening bell and then plied Malenko with punches
and suplexes. Enter Sid Vicious. The Millennium Man entered the ring, causing
the disqualification, and then proceeded to deliver his Vicious wares. The
Revolution ran down, but seemed unable to stop Steiner and Sid. Saturn
finally managed to back body drop Sid over the top, giving The Revolution
control of the ring.

Goldberg d. Bam Bam Bigelow
Goldberg dominated the entire contest, but things went awry after referee
Nick Patrick was inadvertently struck. The G-Man continued to dissect the
Jersey Native, until Page arrived. The Triad members attempted to double team
Goldberg. Instead, they tasted the ferocity of the Spear. While Page watched
from the outside, Goldberg defeated 3-B with the Jackhammer. Post-match, Page
treated his Fall Brawl opponent to repeated chair shots.
