Even though their parents don't always get along too well, PJ Pete is the nice and loyal friend of Max Goof, his next door neighbor. PJ's room is decorated with space stuff, with a rocketship-shaped bed, space posters and an astronaut cut out hanging from the ceiling. He is afraid of his father, but still willing to help out a friend in need. PJ is interested in Rose Deckenbloom. At the high school, he always hangs with 'the gang' including him, Max, and Bobby Zimmeruski.
