Kindred: The Embraced
It really is a shame that this was cancelled. Kindred: The Embraced is based on the world created by Mark Rein-Hagen in his Vampire: The Masquerade role-playing game. It follows the exploits of the vampires (or Kindred as they call themselves) of San Francisco. The Prince of the city is Julian Luna (Mark Frankel) a Ventrue. His sire Archon passed the title down to him. The Primogen (a kind of ruling council of elders) of the 5 clans in San Francisco are:
Cash, the Gangrel Primogen.
Eddie Fiori (Brian Thompson), the Brujah Primogen.
Daedalus (Jeff Kober), the Nosferatu Primogen.
And Lillie Langtry (Stacy Haiduk), the Toreador Primogen.
Stacy Haiduk can be recognized from seaQuest DSV (Cmdr Hitchcock) and Superboy (Lana Lang).
Brian Thompson is the shape-shifting alien bounty hunter in The X-Files.
Jeff Kober stars in the Bacardi ads.
Patrich Bauchau stars in The Pretender.
Mark Frankel, unfortunately, died in a motorbike accident, shortly after completing the series.
