I am a huge Fan of Lois and Clark (FoLC) and really enjoyed watching the reruns of Superboy on
Sky 2 (UK) at 7:00pm every day when the channel still existed! Below are some LnC links. I don't know of any Superboy ones. (For Stacy Haiduk links, go to my Kindred page.)
Lois and Clark = Teri Hatcher and Dean Cain ........ Lana and Clark ("Superboy") = Stacy Haiduk and Gerard Christopher
The relationship between the two leads was developed very well, never stagnating and always handled carefully. The writers never once (in my opinion) cheapened the show by watering down the characters at all. Admittedly, several episodes had cheesy A-plots but we all watched for the sub-plots anyway.
When Clark Kent moved to Metropolis, New Troy, to work at the Daily Planet as a reporter, he met a beautiful woman named Lois Lane who he immediately fell in love with. She of course felt nothing for him at first but grew to know him better when they were made investigative partners and the two got closer, and by the end of the first season, Clark admitted his feelings for her. He took it back, however, when he realised she didn't feel the same way.

Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman was a truly wonderful show. It ran four seasons but, due to low ratings in the latter season, it was cancelled by ABC. Some blame ABC for switching the timeslot constantly and not advertising but many factors were involved. Anyway, that's not important.
The second season had the two struggling with their feelings for each other, and this continued for a while. Somewhere during seasons two and three, Lois fell for a man called Dan Scardino, Clark was pursued by Mayson Drake who died shortly after discovering his secret identity, and Lois found out Clark's secret as well (luckily she didn't die). The two got seriously involved and, well, if you haven't seen it, I won't spoil anything...
It would be too hard for me to pick my favorite episode. Definitely something from the first or fourth seasons, though.
Superboy began with a terrible actor named John Haymes Newton in the lead role. The young Clark Kent attended Schuster University with his friends Lana Lang and TJ White (Daily Planet editor Perry White's nephew). Everyone knew it sucked and in the second season, TJ was replaced by Andy something and Gerard Christopher (who became a producer) took over the role of Superboy. And did a great job. When the show became The Adventures of Superboy, Clark and Lana interned at the Bureau for Extranormal Matters, a kind of X-Files place where the two investigated the supernatural. The guy who played Lex Luthor in all but the first season (Sherman Howard) was also excellent, making frequent appearances (sometimes wearing a fake-looking wig so you know the character's bald and sometimes using his real hair which was receding!). I loved this show when I began watching it and still do. I hope it gets repeated again. Best episodes: "Roads Not Taken, I and II".
