This week was better than the last, though not by much. I am still editing, and DaveDave has come up with brilliant sound design for my final sequence.

I'm pleased with the rushes from Matt's film -- too bad I can't get those on tape. Reel-making attempt for internship this week a failure. Will apply next year, I guess. I still hate my film.

Still wearing black, grey & green-- easier to do laundry. Saw Wonder Boys with Wonder Boy Matt. Best descriptive word is "weird" (the movie, not Matt). Good acting, though, even from Katie 'Dawson's Creek' Holmes. I hate that show.

Have been obsessed with soundtracks lately, and a strange mix at that, namely The English Patient and Rushmore, which I've seen about 20 times in the past three weeks. Also good is "Prince: the Hits 2" and Al Green's "More Greatest Hits." I listened to Moby's "Play" everyday for a week and got sick of it. Too bad--good album. Favorite all around album is still U2's "Actung, Baby!" Best good song/bad song ratio of any of my records.

On my way home to D.C. today I got a fucking speeding ticket. 70 in a 55. DAMMIT! Anyway, hopefully I can get some culture here that doesn't involve North Face fleece vests or fake army fatigues. GAP cargos: $60. Sunny's Surplus: $20.

Nothing happening in Ithaca. No skinhead rallys or religious pamphlet pushers except Jehovahs witnesses that stopped by house earlier this week. Go away, I'm Jewish. It's cold here. I hate this place sometimes. Please make it stop snowing.

SWF still in search of good man, not guy. Plenty of candidates, but no one willing to make move. Why is this so hard? SWF likes intellect, humor, and good hygiene--all underappreciated qualities these days, especially intellect & hygiene. Do not email me to get a date--people don't know how to talk to other people anymore. For this alone, I hate computers. Maybe I can find a man in D.C. who spits in public so I don't get homesick for Ithaca.
