Stills are an inevitable part of moviemaking... I suppose on a basic psychological level it's some indirect way of getting people to take pictures of you. Anyway, though I don't have photos from my own film, these are some from my last undergraduate DP gig for my friend Matt Michaud. His film, Paul West: Rise of a 90s Gunslinger is a social study of heroes and antiheroes, taking the shape of a mocumentary about a guy, Paul West, who gets superpowers from reading pornography. Don't we all.

Enjoy, ponder, gaze in disbelief at my literal physical attachment to the camera, but most of all, pity us. Oh, and give us jobs.
