'Scream 2' is the sequel to the sucessful horror movie 'Scream' which built up quite a reputation for itself. It looks as if 'Scream 2' is set to follow the guidelines laid by the first film and stars Neve Cambell ('The Craft') and Courtney Cox ('Friends') must once again step onto the big screen to create another nail-biting, roller-coaster ride of a film.
The plot is simple. Sydney has moved on from her life of being the focus of the attacks seen in the first movie and is at college. When the movie 'Stab', a film based on the events of the first film, is released, someone decides to make a real-life sequel, again with Sydney starring. But who? As with all sequels, the blood and gore must be more and the body-count must be higher. It's a matter of time....
'Scream 2' does exactly what it set out to do - scare and amuse. It has the same 'whodunnit' theme as the first and you'll find yourself literally sinking down in your seat, hiding behind your hands! My only criticism is the somewhat weak ending, which could have been improved. Not as good as the first, probably due to the lack of a killer with the same talent. Still a definate must though.
