Titanic is an epic disaster movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio (Romeo and Juliet
and The Man In The Iron Mask) and English girl, Kate Winslet. It is the most expensive movie ever made, but it sure has been worth it with it being the biggest box office smash in the world, raising over $1 billion and it's also the second highest grossing film ever shown in the US, with just Star Wars ahead of it. It earned itself 14 Oscar nominations and scooped up 11 of them.The film takes you back to 1912, on Titanic's maidon voyage to America. Of course, the ship is unsinkable, absolutely unsinkable. Yeah, a likely story. The story follows Jack (DiCaprio), a 3rd class citizen aboard Titanic, who meets rich girl Rose (Winslet). They begin a powerful romance that captures the viewer's emotions and when the ship hits an iceberg and starts to sink you are taken on a rollercoaster ride of love, pain and loyalty.
If you haven't already seen this film you really need to do so. There is only one word to describe it: amazing. The film really is a masterpiece and if you don't see it you are really missing out. Oh and make sure you take a box of tissues, or two or three....
