Well, now you've read that cover copy, you're ready to watch a movie laden with chills, excitement and nerve-pounding terror, right? Well, think again! The sixth installment of the Halloween series is one long, convoluted, boring mess! It's not even really scary, just dumb!
The plot involves Michael Myers trying to kill a baby born to a woman in this secret building. He then returns to Haddonfield to hack to death everyone who lives in his former house. Paul plays the grown up boy whose babysitter was killed in the original Halloween movie. It's an interesting performance, to be sure. He's made it obvious that he dislikes the movie and thinks it's a joke. On one of his talk show appearances he made fun of it.
Watch it if you must, just to see the auspicious debut of one of the best actors around!
For your information, there is an alternate version of this movie circulating around. It's the infamous "producer's Cut" of Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers! It is longer and is edited differently from the theatrical version. It also has different plots and footage. It is not technically commercially available, so you'll have to scrounge around the internet or movie/video trades to find a copy.
