A very skilled driller, AJ Frost (Ben Affleck), worked for Harry Stamper (Bruce Willis) for five years. His cockiness got him in many battles with Harry. Even though he knows he's not always Harry's favorite person, AJ looks up to and admires Harry.
A very loving person, AJ wants to marry Harry's daughter, Grace (Liv Tyler), which really makes Harry mad. But in the end, as is often the case, love prevails and AJ makes peace with Harry and marries the girl of his dreams.
