Grace Stamper (Liv Tyler), daughter of heroic oil driller Harry Stamper, and fiancé to AJ Frost, of which her father originally disapproves. Grace is a wonderful character- she's smart,
funny, and what I feel a perfect match for AJ. She has the feelings of true love for AJ, whom she's known for at least five years. Grace loves her father and they are very close, although she doesn't always approve of the way he raised her. Grace heartbroken when her father delivers his painful message to her at the the end of the movie. She and AJ marry and prepare to start thier lives together.
