• Futurama Renewed! Let it resound from the hills. Sing choirs, ring bells, sound my barbaric yawp over the world! The Fox programming department, in a rare fit of sanity, renewed Futurama for a second season, ordering 22 new episodes! Good news for the ONLY show to span three millenia. Also, the Episode Guide has been updated.
• I don't usually link to media sites (not for the past few months, at least), but I must inform you of an awesome article about Matt Groening that appeared in Slate magazine. It discusses his importance as a cartoonist, along with his various works: Life in Hell, The Simpsons, and of course Futurama. Read it here. (And the fact that it links to my page is only ONE reason why I'm endorsing it here. Stop snickering, you!)
• FuturamaRama is moving! Yes, FuturamaRama, the first Futurama website to feature original content is joining The Futurama Chronicles. This website, run by several people (including yours truly) who contribute to the awesome Simpsons Archive promises to be one of the best (if not the best) Futurama sites in this vast digital wasteland.
• Futurama is here! Episode guide here! Next new episode on Sunday, April 4. On April 6, Futurama will move to Tuesday nights at 8:30, between King of the Hill and The PJs. (Fox will air various reruns at 9:30 to make it a 2-hour animation block).

The big news is: the date for the premiere has finally been announced! Program your VCR for Sunday, March 28, at 8:30 Eastern & Pacific, 7:30 Central & Mountain (in other words, right after The Simpsons. It's sure to be a classic.!
