Max's Acting Career...
Max grew up in Boston and decided acting was the life for him when he was 12. He got picked to be in a high school performance of "Pippin." Then he kept doing more and more shows. When Max was in high school, he won the Massachusetts Drama Festival for his great acting. Max hit his first real professional role as a page in a production of Cyreno de Bergerac done at Boston's Huntington Theatre. After that, Max moved to New York City. There, he studied acting at the American Academy of Drama Arts. He got guest spots on shows as Kate and Allie, and The Equalizer. Max was noticed by casting directors. When the pilot season come around, Max was sent out for all different pilots, and he soon got a spot on Doogie Howser, M.D., as Vinnie Delpino, Doogie's best bud. Max says that he and his Doogie Howser character, Vinnie, are pretty much alike. "He's italian, I'm italian. We're both inner city kids..." Max also admits that, like Vinnie, he chases girls. But Max says that he [Max] is more of a gentleman than Vinnie is. Max also says that Vinnie is a bit younger. "I'm a little more mature than [Vinnie]. I also wasn't as daring as Vinnie [at 16]. Otherwise, we're really the same in a lot of ways because I take Vinnie from myself." Max is currently fulfilling his life-long dream. He has hit the Broadway stage in the musical, "The Lion King" as Timon. (Since I live near NY, I am hoping to see it shortly, but my friend already has tickets to see him!)
