Car-thief Francesca Marsh teams up with a journalist who's on his way to cover a karaoke convention. She steals a car with a trunk full of money and counterfeit plates. Unfortunately for Francesca and Jack, there are Sir Stewart, a major league crime boss needs the plates and $2.7 million to finance new dealings and he sends his henchman and a crooked cop to retrieve them and dispose of Frank and Jack along the way.
My comments A fun action movie with YB playing a character that's like a cross between Jess Crossman (Drop Zone) and Kate Patrick (South Beach). There is the requisite car chase (with lots of cars flipping over and an oh-so-conveniently placed glass truck on the road) and lots of shots with YB shooting guns if you're into that kind of thing :) Altogether a very nice piece of action entertainment.
My fave scene: The scene in the
desert after Francesca has killed the two corrupt cops and Jack thinks she's
a psycho.
My fave YB line - not very original line, but it's the way it's said: Frank
(to the cop who thinks he's finally apprehended her for stealing cars): "In
your dreams."
