Character-'Tiny', also known as Raymond

 8 years after the original bloodsport movie Gibb’s has moved up from competitor to event organizer (though there is really no direct reference to his role in the first movie.) But if all the other sites believe this is the same character I will as well.
Alex Cardo is a reformed thief who , after speaking with Tiny for less then a minute (out of audible range) gets a ticket to the exclusive tournament where he must face the main villain guy, which as little to do with the side plot (yes the fast forward button was pressed a lot when viewing this.)

What’s important is Tiny’s relationship with Kim, a pretty blonde, and the first female to ever to compete in the tournament. Unlike the other lead female character she is a strong both physically and mentally, and has a decent amount of self respect; which is why Tiny wanted her.

Try 1- He just asked her out, and as we all expected he was comically shot down. Because he was essentially asking for a “gift” with out earning it and she was insulted beyond belief.
Try 2-since it appears to be his job to arrange the matches he gives her a man/woman/circus creature thing (it has a bright red face painted on…..) as an easy opponent—she is still insulted, but at least she can take it out in the rather quick match. In giving her an easy opponent for her first match, I believe he thought that she would be grateful enough to “go out” with him, but once again he fails to realize her self respect is not for sale.

 Try 3-In her first match against a legitimate competitor he cheers her on as he would any male fighter, thereby showing he respects her as an equal.
(And her reaction is not a negative one! hey it’s a start.) Of course she wins the match as well (score one for girl power.....)

Try 4-Poor Kim has to fight the "main" bad guy (of this side of the plot) who is not only unbeatable, but in his past matches left his opponents bloody and unconscious. She tried, but as expected she lost badly, and Tiny had to resist the urge to storm up there and rescue her.

Possibly noticing how upset Tiny was the villain kissed Kim (though it kind of looked like he broke her neck.) This enraged Tiny who tried to attack him,but was beat to the ground with a single hit.

But it was worth it! Tiny attacking only when Kim’s dignity was in jeopardy secured the notion that he respected her abilities, (Had he attacked before the end of the match she would have just been insulted again.)
So in the next scene they enter hand in hand calling each other “honey” and “sweetie” :)
