She was also active on the stage, working with Kenneth Brannagh in his Renaissiance Theatre Company, with included 'Rosalind' in 'Twelth Night'. She has recently moved into writing, with 'The Talking Cure' and a second novel. She still has a tiny part in 'Grange Hill', as the school secretary.
