After having been a Gateway fan for so long - they screwed me hardcore and I did not take it lightly. Then I found out after all my years of bashing Dell's - that they are actually a more solid company. Go figure.
Best Car:
Toss-up between the Nissan Xterra and the Porsche 911sc
To help me make up my mind - I have both.
Best Onion Rings:
Izzy's Deli, Santa Monica
These are hand dipped in a sweet bread batter and served HOT!
Best Fries:
Benita's Frites
They used to have a shop in the 3rd Street Promenade, but they moved to the Universal Citiwalk. If you get a chance to go by there and get some - I highly recommend it. It will make you balk at Burger King and McDonalds!
Best Movie Theatre:
Grouman's Chinese Theatre
A classic design and style to the architecture and world famous for it's courtyard - it is hands-down the best for screen size and sound!
Best Computer Game:
The Myth Series
By far the most fun game and an industry leader in gameplay, graphics and humor.
Best Shoes:
Colorado Boots
Don't try looking for these in the mall, you won't find them. They were produced by the now defunct KINNEY SHOES. Before they went under I bought 5 pairs and I still have 1 pair left. I should have to shop for shoes again in late 2004.
Best Studio to work for:
20th Century Fox
The lot rocks and the staff rocks. So much history and the distributors of some of the best films.
