      When Fiona died, a piece of me died, too. The last loyal piece of me. Don't get me wrong, I still love my parents as people, but I reject the values they brought me up with. I think they're wrong. I think my dad does what it takes to keep the people content, and my mom believes everything she's ever been told. I don't hate them for it - but I hate it when they expect me to be like them.

      My real friends? Peter and Lydia . And Mathieu. And, to be fair, Antonio is a good friend, and a sympathizer as well.

      My real interests? Technology. I'm fascinated by plants, animals, souls, and the microchips that make them what they are. That's basically what led me to the underground. I never knew.. I never really realized that life wasn't always this way. Our world view basically implies that it was. It frightens me.
