Author Expose: M.D. Koffin

M.D. Koffin chose the name as a tribute to her great-grandmother Coffin, who was a science fiction writer, a language teacher, and a perpetual student of everything from psychology to nuclear physics. She individualizes the name with a K, hoping that her published novels will reside on bookshelves near those of best-selling author Stephen King. With a degree in computer science, she applies her creative mind to game programming and robotics, as well as writing fiction.

Reviews of the Flesh Angels prerelease

"certainly a unique book. I plan on getting the first issue or so of the continuing series." ~ Kevin Brahmer (Optical Sloth) March 29, 2002

"the writing is R.D. Laing channeling Charles Bukowski writing Steve Ditko's AVENGING WORLD. A truly unique experience" ~ Stephen Grant (BadLands) March 6, 2002

"Well, if you had the promotional blurb that he sent us you can figure out what is going on, but to tell you that here would soil your fun. There is a faint impression of a plot, e-mailed appointments and women struggling against an attack. The majority of the book is the dialogue: measured but full to the brim of ambiguity." ~ Darren Schroeder (Silver Bullet Comics) April 23, 2002
