"Resolution" by guitarist John McLaughlin, was recorded on the album
 "Birds Of Fire" by The Mahavishnu Orchestra. 
The guitar grids here give a solo type approach to the tabs. 
This lets the player get 
the feel of the rythym punches of the static bass line.
