I like to call this page "the horizontal page" because it has all of the horizontal images on it. This is where you can browse different brands of early '90s MX gear with prices then and what they are worth today. It's also where I stashed all of the thumbnail images for the big pictures.

Oh, my God! These boots are actually really cool looking! What the fuck is going on here? It must be the fact that Alpinestars knows how to make a fuckin' boot. But, what's this in the middle? A crack team of Saddam's saboteurs were able to break into the Alpinestars factory in Italy in 1990. Their intent was to make every boot in the place look like shit, but before they had time to glue confetti to each boot the factory cat, Banti, walked in and spooked them. They ran off leaving only 1/7 of the boots spoiled. Alpinestars knows the American market well; they said, "Americans actually like this kind of garbage. We'll jack up the price and call it 'Wild/Blue'. Foiled again, Saddam!" Worth today: $250 (Except wild/blue: $13.50)
