-Hey, thanks for a wonderful year of movies!

-Hey, how about letting the bad guy win for once. I recently saw End of Days, where Arnold's will is stronger than Satan himself. Why not let the movie end with Jerico as Satan ripping $h!t up. Now that would have been a good ending. After all, the bad guys are better in most movies, anyway.

-Hey, can we please cease and desist with the pre-movies commercials. If I see one more Sound Blaster Live ad while waiting for my movie, I may just Look At My Potato.
October 20, 1999 12:01 p.m. (amended 1-9-2000)
-Hey, anyone else notice that Bruce Willis has been in Die Hard I, II, & III, The Sixth Sense, 12 Monkeys, The Fifth Element, The Whole Nine Yards...
October 19, 1999 11:44 p.m.

-Hey Hollywood, I just saw the new commercial for Fight Club that shows the final scene where - don't read on if you still want to see it - Helena and Ed watch the buildings blow up. Why show such a revealing scene when the other secret was left hidden?

-Hey Hollywood, enough already with opening scenes being filmed from a helicopter flying close to the water, zooming onto the coast, then to the Big City's skyscrapers!
-The perfect next Batman would be Wesley Snipes. After his turn in Blade, he'd be credible, can do most of his own stunts, and would look good in the batsuit. And for all those "purists", since when was Batman blonde. Answer me that, Val! Wes is exactly what the series needs to infuse new energy and attention. Oh, and if possible, get Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City) to direct and Gotham will be alive again. If anyone at all at Warner Brothers sees this, think about it. If you want, even let Wesley produce and direct. Not only would it be great for the movie, but publicity would come from groups like the NAACP lauding such a progressive choice, a new fan base would be opened up to the movies, even more publicity will come from the "traditionalists" who say it's not right, and did I mention that it would be great.
                                         Thanks for listening...Eric

Hey! Don't insult my intelligence!  Godzilla is the perfect example of what not to do - a ditzy scientist telling a Fench intelligence agent how to perform special ops - a fleet of helicopters flying in close formation, firing like mad and not hitting each other (every her of being shot down by friendly fire?), submarines that just happened to be located right where Godzilla take a swim, instead of spread out , come on.  You don't have to be 100% accurate (ghost stories are admissable...) but you need to be realistic about it!

Use more care in your previews - Don't give away all the humourous / important shots! The 6th Sense was good, but would have been better without the kid telling mom in the car how he sees dead people..

I know Sony would disagree, but I think people would rather pay less, and have theaters keep the existing sound systems instead of upgrading every couple years.
