THE STAND





The committee plans to have a meeting at Nick's house, so that is where Nadine plants the bomb that Harold made.



Harold triggers the bomb...but he is too late. Nick is the only one who dies in the explosion. Fran is injured, but she and the baby will be ok. She was pregnant before the superflu, so the birth of her child is especially important.



Right before the bomb was detonated, Mother Abigail reappeared. Everyone ran out of the house to see about her...



She is in bad shape and asks for those committee members who can to come to her. Before she dies, she tells them that Stu, Larry, Glen, and Ralph must go to Vegas. They are to walk and take only what they are wearing. She says that one of them will fall by the wayside, but she doesn't know which one.



Over Fran's protests, they leave, taking Kojak with them.
