In 1983 I had a "spiritual conversion" in my life. I cannot explain or even have time to explain what actually happened, but in a nut shell I was saved from drugs, and wrecklessness while driving. I always had a still small voice speaking inside of me saying "Bryan I Love you, follow me". Since then, I've been following pastors, churches, doctrines of different churches, everything but The father. I'm a born again Christian. I whole heartedly believe that during this time I was following what some know as legalism. "Don't do this don't do that, Don't dress this way, don't smoke.(which I have quit thank Jesus). My point being that I want to thank you for bringing the TRUTH of God out through many programs. I can't keep my eyes dry everytime I watch it. I swell up inside an constantly hear the message that I once heard before. "GOD LOVES YOU". Despite my falling away, when I'm unfaithful he's always faithful. The TRUTH that God Loves us no matter what we've done, have done, or will do.
Thanks SOOOO much I want to Thank You all for being in touch with your hearts and not just your heads. MAY GOD BLESS YOU every day for your faithfulness to bring God's Love to the screen. I also believe the thank you's go beyond the cast, to Martha Williamson, and everyone involved. As someone who did drama I realized how much the people behind the scenes are important as well. 1JOHN 3:18

TBAA is now one of my favorite programs. Several of stories are very touching.
I had done healings at Spiritualist Church and I do have a developmental learning disability.
That what inspire me to write the short script.

I had always heard good things about the show "Touched By An Angel" but I never took
the time to actually sit down and watch it. I guess because I'm not really into
religion and at that time I believed that was all that the show was about. The
first full episode I ever saw was "Psalm 151" because I'm a huge Céline Dion fan. I
was extremely impressed and that one episode made me realize that the show doesn't
only cover religion. It's about learning, experiencing, forgiving, and basically, in
one word, life. Now I'm addicted to the show and I record every episode. I'm
addicted to the way I feel after watching this show. No matter how bad things are
in life, this show gives us hope, faith, and a sense of importance and self-worth.
This show also makes us feel loved. Loved by God, angels, and even our fellow human
beings. God bless all the actors, writers, producers, directors and everyone else
involved in the making of "Touched By An Angel". I truly hope they realize how much
goodness they are spreading throughout the world and how much their efforts are
affecting their viewers' perspectives on life and death. Amen.

I grew up in a Christian home. I always went to church, I was "trained," in a way, to pray and read my bible ever since I was little. But soon it all grew boring. Eventually I discovered what it REALLY meant to be a Christian, and it was wonderful, but all my excitement died down pretty quickly. My school is full of kids who know nothing about God, hate their lives, hate everyone around them, and think it's all hopeless. I have referred to them, when talking to my other friends, as "a gang of very lost souls." And I was joking, but it's true. My dad is not a very Godly man and I don't like to see him. Being with him and being with the kids at my school is so DRAINING, spiritually. I would go to church and hang out with my friends who KNOW God, but it didn't help much, so much time with all the kids in my class soon had me depressed and feeling really alone. I would try praying and reading the Bible, but to me that was old, something I had been doing since I was a little kid.
One night, I had just come back from the worst Christmas break ever. I had spent a week and a half with my dad, I had been very sick, and my flight home had been delayed about three times. I was NOT in the best of moods. I walked in to the living room and my MOM was watching Touched by an Angel. I had never seen it before so I sat down to watch it with her. It was the episode called "Tough Love." I only saw the end and watched as Elizabeth knelt down and said, "Have you come to punish me?" and when Monica said, "No," so kindly, it was like this thrill that went through me. This was the kind of amazing, loving God I was looking for. This was the spiritual "pick-me-up" I needed. I became hooked in those twenty minutes. Right after that, I was watching the show constantly, always wanting to hear the hopeful message, "God loves you." It refreshed me so I could face life. My spiritual excitement grew and grew. One day, I was watching "Psalm 151." It wasn't the first time it had aired, but I had never seen it before. I watched it, and by the end, when they are all singing and praising God, it was the biggest thrill I have ever had. After that episode, I ran through the house singing for half an hour, without a clue why I has so happy. My mom and her friend thought I had gone crazy! It was the biggest high I have ever experienced. I wish I could feel like that all the time! People have different ways of finding that "spiritual high." This - and SINGING to God, my other way of praise - is mine.
Here I am, still watching the show. The days I don't watch it, it's like something is missing. It always tells me exactly what I need to hear, and that is that God loves me. It's the message every one needs to hear. Thank you. Keep bringing the message!
Love in Christ,
Elanor
Dear Della, Roma and John:
A simple thank you seems so inadequate in light of the many ways your
characters on Touched By An Angel" have touched me. Each Sunday evening
I look forward to that one hour when I can shut down and escape into the
warmth of the message of God's love you deliver to us all each week.
The characters you play and the message they deliver warm my home and my
heart, a warmth that lasts after the show has ended.
I am a single parent and have been for eleven years. My two children
are now teenagers and even more of a trial than ever. Through the good
times and the bad, they have also been a blessing. They are the reason
I have for waking up each morning, for getting through the day and for
learning to take each day as it comes, knowing that God will watch over
us and take care of us.
Touched By An Angel reinforces that week after week. Every week you
remind me that God does love us, that he is always there for us no
matter what we do or how far we wander away from him. And that is the
greatest blessing of all.
I know that one day the show will end and you three will go your
separate ways, delve into other character in other shows and movies.
And each time we see you, despite the role you play, we will remember
Tess, Monica and Andrew, and once again feel the warmth we feel now when
we see you on Touched By An Angel.
It is a testament to each of you and your vast talents that we feel the
way we do when we watch the show. Though I know none of you are
"angels", for an hour each Sunday night, you are our angels and we are
so very glad you are there.
It is my heartfelt wish that Touched By An Angel lasts for many years to
come and that for many Sunday nights into the future we have the
opportunity to see the show and hear your wonderful words telling us of
God's love. That simple reminder is, in and of itself, a reason for the
show to go on. Thank you all for the roles that you play and the
message your characters give us each week.
I hope the three of you get as much out of the show as does your viewing
public. Without Touched By An Angel, Sunday night television would be
just another night to turn off and tune out the murder, violence and
mayhem that permeates television. Truth to tell, your show is one of
only two I ever watch on the "Big Three" networks (the other is Dharma
and Greg because it makes me laugh and Dharma is such a hoot).
To you and the rest of the cast and crew and writers of Touched By An
Angel, I want to say Thank you. Two simple words that can say so much
yet barely express how we truly feel. And I do thank you for doing such
a wonderful job and reminding us all of how lucky we are to have such a
kind and forgiving God smiling down upon us.
CC
I watch Touched by an Angel every night. I just love John Dye, Roma, and Della. It's made me feel so good and peaceful.
I like the start of the show, where they hold hands, and I love that song that is played as they are walking. I love every show. They always touch my heart. Keep them coming. I love Touched by an Angel.

In the Presence of Angels
It's amazing what three words can do
When those words are "God loves you."
These words bring hope and peace and love
A gift from our Father, who watches above.
He gives His angels a message to share
To show the world that He really does care.
In His angels' hearts, hope shines bright
As they bring God's love into our darkest night.
The Lord sends his angels to show us the way
And to watch over us all, every night and every day.
So never be afraid to show that you care
For sometimes, we meet angels, unaware.
I guess you could say I was inspired by TBAA, and that's where that poem came from. I love TBAA because no matter what happens, there's always a happy ending:-) No matter what! It's great! I cry often when I'm watching it, but I always have a smile on my face at the end....

Hi guys,
I started watching TBAA about 4 years ago, I was channel surfing and BAM
this gorgeous face was on the screen and I had to find out who it was and
what the show was...well you guessed it, it was JOHN DYE and the show was
TBAA. I have watched it ever since, I love it, and believe me it has gotten
me through some bad times too, I too wish more would watch it, I'm so afraid
they'll try and take it off...I have all the shows on tape but it wouldn't be
the same!! When I need scolding I hear "Tess's" voice and when I need a
shoulder or hug I hear it too. "There, there baby, it'll be all right"
Thanks, Sandy Mc.
I've only
seen two episodes of Touched by an Angel, and I'm so glad I taped them as I
just love them, I've never watched such a series where you feel so much
peace and overwhelming love for God.
Anne Marie Hayward
I absolutely love TBAA. I think it is one of the best
shows on television nowadays. I started
watching TBAA in the summer of 1996, after my
mother and I had just moved to Florida. I
basically got hooked on it from then on. :-) I love
how it talks about God's love, and even how it
uses Scripture in its dialog. It gives me something
to look forward to every week. It's hard to come
up with a favorite episode, but I would have to
say it's The Medium and the Message, the one
where Monica helps the television producer
come up with a new show idea through
flashbacks of her own experiences. They did a
wonderful job on that episode. Oh, and I also
love the humorous parts of TBAA.
God bless, Aaron
The Angel
It was the lowest point in her life
As bad as could be,
The worst things in life were all she could see.
She wanted a way out
So she went to her room,
Locked the door and prepared for her doom.
She took out the gun
And held it to her chest,
As she thought to herself, “this is for the best.”
But before she could shoot
There came a great light,
And a being clad in shimmering white.
With long dark hair,
And the kindest of eyes,
The girl knew the Angel didn’t want her to die.
The Angel said to the girl,
“Fear not my dear,
God loves you, so He sent me here.”
The girl looked up, with tears in her eyes.
And said, “God doesn’t love me.
No one, not even Him, could ever love me.”
“I’ve ruined my life,
And others lives too,
Nobody loves me, it just can’t be true.”
The angel said to the girl,
“It matters not what you’ve done,
God’s mercy is much greater than anyone.”
“ He can take away your pain,
And help you to make amends,
If only you’ll put your life in his hands.”
The child looked at the Angel,
Her eyes spilling over with tears,
And she cried, “I want Him to take away my fears”
The Angel’s eyes too,
were spilling tears down her cheeks,
and she said “God wants to help you, and it’s for you
that He weeps
The child asked the Angel,
“What now do I do?”
The Angel then told her, “You have already done just
what you needed to.”
The child glimpsed at the gun,
Clenched tightly in her hand,
And she discarded it as if it were an old worn out can.
She looked once again
To where the Angel had appeared,
Only to find that the Seraph had disappeared.
Even now to this day,
She talks to God every night,
and thanks Him for the Angel he sent her that night.

Hi:
Watched the 26 September show about kids and women being
sold as slaves in the Sudan which had me in tears as it
was a very inspiration, serious and touching story.
I wish someone would do a story on young Russian women
being lied to, given passports and transportation for
supposedly a better place to live and work. Once the
Russian woman realizes where she is, she has her passport
taken away, sleeps and prostitutes herself in the same
bed until she can pay back the money it cost to get her
to Israel and returned to Russia. This takes a long
time as I understand it. Yes, can you believe it...Israel
of all places runs brothels and they are protected by
their country Police and Law. We in the USA support
Israel, and this is one disgrace that will slap us in
the face one day. One day it could be American women
if it is not already to some extent. It could be our
sisters and our daughters. Wake up Congressman and
Senators! God is watching You!
Sincerely,
Joseph Pierce
To get
back on the subject - TBAA embraces the concept that you can pray where ever
you like, God's love in pretty unconditional what ever your religion, race,
etc..., and importantly - that there is always hope. Since discovering TBAA
I have changed my attitude to life a little. I'm a pessimist that tends to
freak out as things coming crashing down around my head, now I do make an
effort to look for the good and see the brighter side of things.
I like to think Angels are out there, watching out for us when we need them
too. But I also like to think there's a bit of an angel in all of us and
we'll take the time to stop and help people along the way.
Mystic
I have been a TBAA view from the beginnig, well off and on from the beginning. It has such a good message to it. I am glad there is a show on the air that helps give people hope. I know that it has given me a lot of hope in my life. Sometimes I watch a show and think its so directly related to my life and what I am going through at that time I wonder how they do that. I also enjoy the shows that help us to be aware of people who are in different situations other that our own.
Jenny
Touched by an Angel has ministered to me in many ways, and I'm excited to hear God's word told to so many people and to see His touch in the lives of so many through this show. I enjoy all of the acting (and let me please emphasize all, not just one character), the stories, and especially the messages.
Jeni
I love Touch By an Angel because even though I am not a Christian I truly appreicate the fact that no matter where you are from or what situation you are in the simple message that God loves you changes your life forever and then some! And in a sick world such as this it's joy to watch a show that you can really say it can change a person's life forever! Thanks to Martha, John Masius, Roma, John, Alexis, Bill, Charles, Della, Cloris, Paul, and the whole crew for doing God's work so brilliantly!
S.Beasley
I just want to let you know, and as well, also the cast,
the crew, the sponsors and everyone else who in some form
or another are involved in the production of this
magnificent, masterpiece... show how appreciative I am
of all the great effort that everyone puts to make this
show possible.
I am a pastor of a church and can't be at home when the
show is on but thanks God for the technological provision of tech
he has given us that I am able to record the show with
my VCR and watch it when I get home after sunday night church
There isn't a time when I wach "Touched by an Angel" that
I don't find myself in tears. And not only that but as well
on my knees before God in prayer for I know that there is
much suffering in this world.
When I go out into the streets, or to the houses, or into
the prisons and jails bringing the good news of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ I am able to see the transforming effect that
takes place in the hearts of those people as they receive the
message of hope with gladness in their hearts.
Touched by an Angel provides so much hope to people as well
the hope of a new life, a life of peace, and of love, and
of rest in an eternity together with our creator. God
ministers to me through the show in a very personal and intimate way.
Please continue the good work... "and let us not be weary
in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we
faint not." Galatians 6:9
Please, if you could, e-mail me a list of all the companies
that sponsor the show. I would also like to send them
a note of encouragment and as well to become more active
in the consumption of their products.
If there is any thing I can ever do to help keep this
show on the air or others like it please don't hesitate
to let me know.
With all the love of my heart
Keeping you always in my prayers.

Touched By An Angel is shown late night, on a small satellite channel here in the UK and I 'discovered' the show after my 84 year old father taped an episode which he came across by accident. He was moved and captivated by what he saw (it was the episode about the homeless with Gregory Harrison) and he felt instinctively that I would feel the same....he was right. It is very rare indeed to see a television show these days done with such love and caring, for a programme to tackle the very sensitive issues which we all face in life, whether it be love, death, divorce or homelessness but TBAA isn't afraid to give all aspects of life a platform, to tell us that God loves us and we are never alone. It also tells us that the truth about all things will always come through which is a great comfort. God bless the cast, the writers and the producers.
Shirley Ann Cowden
Monica, Tess and Andrew.....God picked a "good" group to bring us his message every week. There is not an episode where I don't laugh or cry. The message these angels bring...and yes, I am a firm believer in Angels and know that God has assigned three angels for each one of us...come directly from God. Yes, the scripts are written by others....but, who helps them write the scripts so accurately reflect God's love for His children? There is only one answer to that question. I pray to God that the "powers that be" will never take TBAA off the air. It is my absolute favorite program and I'd be lost without it. God bless Della Reese, John Dye, and Roma Downey for accepting God's call to portray Tess, Andrew and Monica. God Bless all of you. You are a true inspiration for many of us.

My name is Dawn Tingler and I am the proud mother of 2 boys Christopher, age 9 and Jason, age 3. We watch the show every chance we get. This year for the season premier my oldest son, Christopher and I set down to watch the show alone. I always cry at this show from week to week however, Christopher usually laughs and goes on. This particular show about the slaves in Sudan not only moved me to tears but Christopher as well. He sat so full of questions and concerns that it moved me to see a then 8 year old so concerned at this story line. He talked about it for days. A couple of weeks after the show Christopher, my mother and I went to Freedom Blast concert in Salem, VA. It only cost $5 to see5 great artist (4HIM, The Truth, Russ Taff, Wayne Watson and Niki Leoniti). While we were @ this concert Mission of Mercy was there as well. Before the intermission a man came on to the stage and started asking people to consider being a participant in the Mission of Mercy program. The program ask for you to sponsor a child in a foreign country for $20 a month. My son came running to me asking, nearly begging to be allowed to sponsor a child. His exact words were, "I want to get a kid like Sam from Touched By An Angel." I explained to Christopher that I had no more money with me and that we would get an information packet and look into it. Christopher looked so disappointed that it broke my heart. My mother was sitting there and looked at him and told him that she would give him the money but it would mean that he would have to use his report card and football money that she gives to him in order to do this. He looked at her with his big brown eyes and said "OK, I don't care, I want to do this." As we started to where the Mission of Mercy table was set up Christopher nearly broke my arm pulling me down there. His enthusiasm was breath taking at what he was about to commit to. As he approached the table I asked the woman on the other side if he was allowed to sponsor a child in his name since he was a minor thankfully, he was. She asked him if he wanted a boy or girl and he said a boy, like Sam. She then handed him a boy, around the age of 10 from Bangledesh. He was thrilled. After we went back to his seat he sat there gleaming from ear to ear at what he had just done, and he was showing everyone from our church his little boy. In the car on the way home he gleamed and talked of how that show made him aware of other kids who aren't as lucky as he is. I wanted to share this story because in todays world it is so hard trying to teach your children compassion for others. This show influenced my son in such a remarkable, moving way that other shows on TV cannot do. I find myself more and more every day turning the TV off because of what it shows, thanks to this show we can watch a tasteful, wholesome, GODLY show. I know that God was responsible for speaking to Christopher that night at the concert and I also believe that because of your show and his reaction to it, GOD saw a way to change not only my sons life, but his friend in Bangledesh. Thank You!!!
Dawn Tingler
I just wanted to say "Thank You" for making sure a wonderful show each week. I find it so refreshing to be able to turn on the tv and watch a great morally sound show. I also get so much joy (even though I'm usually crying my head off..ha) from the story lines. In a world where so many things are going wrong, it's refreshing to have a show that shows the good in people and in life. It really helps enforce my Christian beliefs. Once again..."Thank You" and keep up the good work. I know God is pleased!

I will be 16 years old in 26 days. I just started watching tbaa april of this year(1999). Out of all the people I know, I'm the youngest watcher. Except for my sister. She loves to watch tbaa. And she'll be 4 in Janurary. I never was really into religous stuff, until I started watching tbaa. I'm into the hip hop rap music, and just yesterday I went out and bought Roma's CD. I could have of bought Snoop Doggy Dogg, Dr. Dre, or 2pac Shakur's album, but instead I bought her album. And it sounds really nice too. The reason why I started watching tbaa is because I found out that my grandmother's niece's mother in law is the writer for tbaa. Just to let you know, I'm a real big fan of this show.
LOVE ALWAYZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jessica.
Dear TBAA

When i watch your show and I get to thinking about the episode it makes me cry just to think about whatever happens on that episode and it touches me deep inside and all I have to say is you guys are good on the program. If you will keep the good work up and never go off air cause I plan on watching it forever and forever cause I see it if you ever pay enough attention to what you are doing in life and you will know who is with you and who isn't. If you believe in him and really do believe then you will know who your best friend is and know whos on your side to take care of you throughout your lifetime. All I can say is ya'll listen to your heart and do whats right and not whats wrong and always keep god no# 1 and don't forget that he deeply loves you and he wants you to do whats right for you and be on his side. You may have friends who are there for you when you are in trouble with something but who going to turn to when that friend is no longer around to help you out of your troubleness, who is it going to be your other friend or your 1 and only best friend who is there for you throughout life cause he loves you and wants 2 be there for you when you are in trouble. :-) Always keep him no# 1 please!!!!
Love ya
~~Amber~~
I have been a fan of TBAA for as long as the show has
been broadcast. Although each and every show touches me,
I felt I had to write about the show which was broadcast on Sunday
November 27, 1999. It was not the storyline which had an
impact on me, rather, it was the song which Tess sang, "Surely, the Presence
of the Lord is in this Place".
That song had been running through my head for several
days. It is one which is often sung in our small town
church and indeed had been sung on Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999.
That service will forever live in my memory because
it was the last service at which our pastor ministered
to us. Two days later, on Nov. 23, our 44 year old
minister who had served our congregation for 16 years
was killed in a farming accident. The shock and disbelief
which was felt in our church family as well as our entire
community was almost overwhelming. Pastor Darrell was
a devoted pastor, husband, father, and community leader.
His funeral on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, was one of the largest ever held in our small town,
and the TV station in a neighboring city had a tribute to him that
night. That Sunday night, as I sat working on the church books,
(I volunteer as the Church Clerk), and looking at the
notes which Darrell had written to me a week earlier,
Tess sang the song which had been running through my
head. Although I was moved to tears, I felt as if
there was a message to me, that we need to go on, and
continue the work which Darrell, in all his boundless
energy had started. I do not think that having that
song on the program that night was simply a coincidence.
Thank You and God Bless!

Dear Cast and Crew of Touched by an Angel:
I want to thank you all for your wonderful contribution to tv today. I know that you probably get thousands of letters saying how much people appriciate you. But, here's one more for you. I just wanted to let you know how much this show touches my life every week. I am the only person in my house who believes in God, and it is so wonderful to have a Godly influence in my life.
I really just wanted to say thank you once again- and I hope and pray that Touched by an Angel goes into many more seasons so I can share it with my children!
Thank you for fighting and relaying such a powerful message.
