Well I'm back again with a whole new look for the site....pretty swish don't you think? I've also got a few great new sections up. Check out the new multimedia section featuring sounds, trailers and more and your most commonly asked questions are answered in the faq section. Meanwhile, the long-delayed Media Sensation section is almost complete and should be online by the weekend! Fingers crossed!

Just a quick update today! We've won another award from Amityville: The Web Site. I've been a fan of this site since its inception over a year ago and so it is truly an honor for me to win this coveted award. Check it out in the awards section.

Changes! 
Just a quick update to inform you (as if you won't have noticed already), that I've changed the look on the homepage and its not bad if I do say so myself! Don't forget to join me in Chat this Saturday with Paul Davis! 

Media Sensation Section 
And so the long saga of this section continues. I've taken this site down for just now so that when it does come back on it'll be complete and so you don't think I'm just sittin' on my ass! I'm sorry for screwing you guys around like this but I WILL get this section up and running VERY SOON (I bet right now you're saying "If I had a dollar for every time he says that...").

I'm back! 
Well..."where the hell have you been?" might be the first question you  want to ask me given that I've neglected the site for over a month. Firstly I'll give a heartfelt apology and second I'll fill you in on what I've been doing. I've just came back from a great summer vacation to NYC and Chicago and so I've had no chance to do anything to the site. Sorry! But even I deserve a break. 

Site Updates 
I've been doing some major tweaking with the site. First of all I've completely changed the look of the Cast section and have FINISHED it. Secondly I've also been working on getting the Media sensation section done. Unfortunately it's still not done yet but I PROMISE it will be within the next few days (weeks?). I have also altered the links section by dividing it into categories for ease of use. You'll also notice some subtler but nonetheless wonderful changes in the site over the next few weeks. 

Chat 
Just before my vacation I had a great chat session with Paul Davis and another fan. If you've not attended chat before I encourage you to do so this Saturday! Chats are scheduled for 6pm EST (11pm GMT) and are great for talking about your favourite film! Hope to see ya there!

Move to Geocities 
No doubt you've noticed that the Exorcist Directory has moved to Geocities. This is all for the better as the site was becoming too big for my AOL server to cope with hence the broken images and links that troubled the site previously. This move allows me to stretch my legs with 10MB of webspace allowing the directory to be added to in future! 

Gross Gear Award 
The site has won another award from great horror merchandise site Gross Gear. Check out the award in the awards won section. Gross Gear has also been linked in the links section. 

The Exorcist on Rental Release throughout the UK.  
UK Exorcist fans can rejoice at the film's final release on VHS rental video. This long delayed event has happened after the BBFC (British Film Board of Film Classification) decided that the film no longer had the same impact it once had, and with its recent theatrical re-release over there causing no problems, came to the conclusion that the film could once again be viewed in the comfort of your own home. A retail release date has yet to be announced, though sources predict we could see it to buy in October. Fingers crossed! 

Other Banned Movies see the light of day in Old Blighty! 
The de-banning(sic?) of The Exorcist has paved the way for a host of other banned movies in the UK to once again see the light of day.  The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was recently re-released theatrically, while Driller Killer, the notorious Abel Ferrara shocker about an artist who kills tramps with a drill, has been granted a rental release with a DVD release soon! Looks like the censors on that side of the pond are getting nice and liberal! 

Complete New Look for The Exorcist Directory! 
I doubt that its escaped your attention, but The Exorcist Directory has had yet another facelift but this time its different: this new look marks the completely different site.  There are now more features, much more info and a more user-friendly layout here. I've been working on it a while, which is why the site hasn't been updated in ages, but now that I've got it done, updates will be much more frequent. So go on!  Tell me what you think about the new look!  Drop me a line, or leave a compliment in the guestbook. Thanks!
