Anna Scott

Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) is the leading female character in the film. She's an
extremely famous and successful actress who encounters Will by
stopping into his bookstore. She doesn't seem to have much
assurance of her career in the future ("And one day, not long from
now, my looks will go. They will discover I can't act and I will become
some sad middle aged woman who looks a bit like someone who was
famous for awhile..."). She's described by Will's friend Max as being a
"goddess", but Will mentions the fact that she does have a horrible
temper. Can she fall in love with a man on the street? Being the world's most famous movie star her picture is plastered on the cover of every magazine and every move she makes will not go unnoticed and the whole world will know about it.
