ET: Hugh was talking about that. He's been
pretty close to that situation and had to beat
a photographer with an umbrella.
Julia: Really?
ET: Yeah! He was really embarrassed about
that!
Julia: I would have loved to have seen Hugh beating someone
with an umbrella! That is so English! If he was an American, it
would've been a two-by-four, but he's English so it's an
umbrella! I love that!
ET: But the kicker to the story is that it was his mom's
umbrella, and it had a little duck head at the tip!
Julia: (laughs)
ET: He was humiliated!
Julia: That's not very macho!
ET: There's a great scene in the film where Anna Scott
overhears a conversation in a restaurant. Five guys are sitting
around a table, drinking, and trashing her. Anything close to
that happen to you in your real life at any time?
Julia: I've heard people talk about me, but fortunately never in
an overtly negative way like these guys.
