EDUCATION:

I graduated from Tuttle High School in 1998 and attended The University of Oklahoma from 1998 to 2002. I took a break from school to work full-time for a few years and just recently returned to school. I'm currently attending Oklahoma City Community College (woohoo!) and will be returning to OU hopefully in Fall, 2006. I am majoring in Psychology, but don't intend to work in the clinical field. I was a bit of a slacker in the past, but one of these days I WILL graduate. :-)

OCCUPATION:

I currently work in a call center answering billing calls. It sucks but it pays the bills. By the way people, there is no reason to call any company and yell at the person answering the phone, ever. If you do, you'll either get laughed at behind the scenes or you'll stress out the consultant who has no real control over anything you're complaining about. I will be forever baffled by how rude and insensitive some people can be. And another thing, you're much more likely to get credit when you're nice to the person you're asking for it. So, if you're ever really pissed off at a company and want to call them about it, take a moment to relax first and be polite, please. ;-)

RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION:

Hmm... that's a tough one. I guess I'm still a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle, Oklahoma, where I was baptised when I was about 12... but I haven't been to church in a while. I've attended church services for several different denominations of Christianity over the years, and I can't really say I agree with the teachings of any of them. I think that religion in general is good and necessary and serves many purposes in society. It is difficult for me to believe, as many Christians do, that all those who have never even heard of Jesus or God will go to Hell. If someone does not have the resources to learn about or the capacity to understand a particular religion, how can "God" punish them for it? If God exists, I think He is smarter than that. I am not anti-Christian, and I think that there are a lot of "good" Christians out there, however, I have come to believe that some of the most ignorant, close-minded, and prejudiced people claim to be Christians too. I think that the Bible is often taken too literally and that most people who classify themselves as Christians choose only to believe what fits into their own personal opinions and desires. Currently I am agnostic, but one of these days I'm going to take the time to study some of the other religions of the world and maybe I'll change my mind.

HOBBIES:

I don't really have many hobbies to name, but I have collected frogs since I was in middle school. I have had a few live pet frogs, but mostly I just collect figurines and such.

I also have several "vintage" video game systems and games. I mostly have NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) games and memorabilia, but also have a good amount of Atari and some Sega Genesis and Super NES games. I'm not sure why I recently began collecting these old games and systems.... I guess it's just part of growing up in the 1980's :-).
