On a more personal note, Jay has some fascinating comments about life: THE
DEFINITION OF THE BLUES Being
hungry, being evicted, your wife leaving you for another man, and
your children calling him "daddy." SOME
THINGS THAT AREN'T TRUE The white people don't have the blues. Bill Haley had the blues and so did Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. The white man is superior and the black man stinks. I've never seen a Black armpit in a deodorant commercial on TV, only a white armpit. The Statue of Liberty is in New York. It's within the waters of the New Jersey shoreline. Sam
Cooke was killed by a motel clerk who thought he was going to rob
her. Sam Cooke was killed by the Mafia. All he did was chase a woman,
while still in his shorts, because she stole his wallet, and when
he ran into the office after her, this black woman shot him. It was
a setup. Sam Cooke fought the establishment He was making too much
money, and when a black man gets that big, there's got to be a white
man behind him, and Sam didn't want a white manager. THE
TRUEST WORDS EVER SAID "People change, but never according to plan." "Look for the worst, hope for the best, and accept whatever happens." "It takes ass to get ass." And finally, the truth can be told! Jay knows who the true King of Rock 'n' Roll was: "Diana Washington, as nasty as she was." Thank you Jay, and good night.
