| Contributor: cairolaw@aol.com It was last November at M.G.M Studios. Mary-Kate and Ashley were coming to sign their hands in cement and answer questions. I didn't actually get to talk to them, but I was a few feet away. When they signed their hands Mary-Kate started laughing because she had spelled her name wrong. I was surprised at how short they were! They were both wearing little jumpers, Ashley's was brown, and Mary-Kate's was black. Later whan they answered questions. Ashley did most of the talking. I got to ask a question from the audience, and I asked what kind of books they liked to read and Ashley said "true books"
Contributor: Diana, picci@ibm.net I have NO clue how it happened but my mom started talking to this lady that I didn't know. Two of her kids came out of this Disney store that was right close to where the lady was sitting. They were twins and they we're holding up beauty and the beast dresses telling their mom that they wanted them. It was the Olsen Twinsand the lady that was talking to my mom was Jarnette Olsen! I couldn't believe it when they came out of that store. I went to say "hi" and we were playing in the sand together. We made a sand castle and Ashley used her umbrella thing (the things they put in drinks that look like umbrellas) for the flag. I didn't say anything about them being famous except "Are you the Olsen twins on Full House" and one of them said "yes" but I don't remember who. I can't remember our conversation because it was so long ago. My mom, my sisters, Jarnie, the Olsen Twins and me went to get something to eat. My mom talked alot with Jarnette and all of us kids just ate! Then we had to go back to the hotel and change into clothes. We found out later that they were there filming a Full House episode! We were in the backround playing in the water! I saw them a couple of times in the hotel and at the beach, they said "Hi Diana, Gina and Christina" everytime they saw us and I said "Hi Mary-Kate and Ashley" back and of course my mom would have a chat with Jarnie when they walked by but just a little one. It was really cool to meet them. They were shy at first but when I talked to them for a while they were blabber mouths and so was I! When I came back from the trip, I watched all of their videos and I thought I was famous since I met them but I was little. So that's my Olsen experience!
Contributor: Kristen, KrisAisha@aol.com Our moms talked and her dad took us to look at the ice skating rink. Then we went into the cafe shop next door and got a muffin and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was gross. It was almost time for us to go in. So for the last 30 minutes we decided to look around the book store and throught the windows. We saw more than 700 people there! So finally it was our turn to go inside. My friend Caitlin went in before I did. So when it was my turn to walk past they stopped me. So then me and Mary-Kate and Ashley started talking. They asked me my name. I said it was Kristen. They said it was a beautiful name. So we talked a little more and then it and then it was time to move on. They were really nice and I wish I could meet them again which I might. Well that's my Olsen experience!!
Contributor: Crystal, MStich3033@aol.com We were at the Mall of America to see if we could find Mary-kate and Ashley. Then me and my mom saw where they were doing the movie. I was so exited!! We waited for about 10 minutes and then, there they were, holding hands with their stepmom. They were short too. I watched them make the movie. Well, part of it. Then they walked over by me and started talking to some contest winners. I was right next to them. We got so many pictures. My body was shaking my hart was pounding so fast, I almost started crying I was so happy to see them. I said hi to them and they said hi back. They were small, really pretty, will always be the best.By the way, I admit I am upsest.
Contributor: Anonymous After we boarded we went to explore the ship, but on the way guess who we ran into.....Mary-Kate & Ashley! I said hi and they said hi back. They were both kind of shy. The next day was "sea day" we were on the ship for the entire day. But there was plenty to do. In the morning we went to a an photo and autograph session. I got both a picture with them and their autograph. Later I met the twins by the pool. We had become good friends. Ashley dove in and discoverd that the pool was full of salt water! It was sort of funny! Then we had a scavenger hunt. I was on Ashley's team and we won! That night was formal night for dinner. We all got dressed up. After the Total Entertainment put on a great show! We all danced and Mary-Kate & Ashley were giving out Christmas gifts. I got, a MKA t-shirt, a pin, a magnet, a detective kit with a magnify glass and funny glasses, stickers, 2 videos, and the Give Us A Mystery tape! It was a GREAT trip!!!!
Contributor: Anonymous, Miss-----@aol.com My best friend moved nextdoor to their mom's house, and I went to visit her a few times and when she first told me she was living next to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, I didn't believe her, so my mom and her mom talked, and I went to visit her for 2 weeks, and I almost passed out cause she DID live next to them... I was so happy, that now every summer, I go out and see them, we became best friends... And after you've known them for a really long time, they don't seem to famous anymore, just really great friends and I hope we are friends for ever... That was my many olsen experiences! |
Contributor: Erin MC, ErinMKAO@aol.com This is my Olsen Experience. I didn't meet them in person, but I did in a chatroom. Yesterday which was the preimere party the live AOL chat. I went into the chatroom to chat with Mary-Kate and Ashley and some people were already asking them questions. I asked them one question. It was: What kind of activities do you like to do? Mary-Kate said she liked to horseback ride and do sports and Ashley said she liked to go to the mall, hang out with her friends, and go to the beach. Well, this may not seem like much, but that was my Olsen experience!!!
Contributor: Katie On the day of the drawing, I was SO excited all day!!I usually walked home, but when I saw my mom's car in the car line I knew something strange was up. As soon as I got in the car my mom looked at me and started smiling so hard she looked like her mouth was about to fall off. I kept asking her why she was so happy and she didn't answer. As soon as I walked in the door at home, the phone rang. As I ran to answer it, my mom got out the video camera, I KNEW something was up now. The voice on the other line asked if I was there I answered them, "this is she" and they told me that I had won the trip!!!!!!! I started screaming!!!!!!!! Then I handed the phone to my mom and waited for her to finish talking to the lady so I could call everyone I knew. As soon as she got off I ran to the phone and called all of my friends and relatives, I could tell my friends were VERY jeleous of me though. Come to find out the lady had called while I was at school and told my mom that I had won the trip. About 3 months later, we were off to Ca! We stayed in a hotel called the Hilton (which was like 23 stories high!) The first day we went to Universal studios and did everything. The second day we just went shopping and stuff because that was the day I was going to meet them! I could barely get ready, I was so excited. When everyone in my family was finally ready, we went downstairs. There was a small entertainment room where they hosted parties and stuff with little tables set up so 2 families could sit at a table (there were 6 families all together). Mary-Kate and Ashley weren't there yet when we got there. They actually didn't come in until like 30 minutes after everyone got in there. But when they walked in the door my whole body felt limp, especially when they walked right past me! They were instructed to go up on the stage while, Trent, Lizzie, Mrs. Olsen and like all thier cousins and stuff went to sit down at a table. The person up on stage asked them a few questions them it was picture time! Each family got to go up and take a picture with them. When I was walking up to get our picture, I was shaking! I was told to stand next to Ashley, and my brother next to Mary-Kate and my parents behind us. When I went up there Mary-Kate looked at me and smiled and said "hi" I said hi back, then Ashley said "hi" and I did the same. After pictures, it was time to eat, the food was mexican, because that is what the twins liked. When we finished dinner, they had an autograph session, I got Ashley's, but not Mary-Kate's, she didn't give anyone hers. I also got Trent's and Lizzie's. There was alot of extra time before the entertainer started singing, so I talked to Trent and Lizzie, who were both very nice I talked to Ashley a little and got her picture, and my mom talked to Jarnie, who my mom said was very normal and did not seem like a stage parent at all. Then the guy started to call everyone to come and sit down on the floor in front of the stage, I sat next to Ashley and behind Mary-Kate. Before we left I gave Ashley a little jewelry box that my aunt had made that said "Ashley" on it and Mary-Kate one that said her name on it. Overall I think I liked Ashley the best I was sad when we had to leave, I wish that night could have lasted forever.
Contributor: Danielle, EQLA60A@prodigy.com When we finally got in, Mary-kate & Ashley were sitting in chairs side by side. Huge displays of there books were behind them. So were detective jackets and hats hanging on a coat rack. When I went up to them I got really shy but managed to say hi Mary-kate, hi Ashley. They both said hi back. Then the people told me & my sister to kneel behind them. I was behind MK on the right. Then the lady took my camera and didn't know how to use it. Ash said you just press that little yellow button back. Mabye she had the same one!! Then I said to them while the lady was messing around with my camera I'm going to be on the cruise this summer. Ash said cool and MK said nothing just nodded her head up and down. Then the both said bye and so did I. It was so short and great. They were REALLY short & skinny. They were wearing white nail polish and MK's hair was longer and not as much layered. They had on Matching DKNY suits in different colors. I think Ash had brown and MK had blue.
Contributor: Calli, jdouglas@connected.bc.ca When I saw the Olsen twins. I ran over to my mom and asked if I could go see them. My heart was pumping so fast! I couldn't believe what I seeing! She told me to calm down and not to panic. She wouldn't let me go alone. Finally we walked over there. Pushing through the crowd I saw Mary-Kate coming towards us. I got so excited! From all the people pushing behind me, someone accidently pushed me out right into Mary-Kate! I felt so embarresed! I said sorry and went back towards my mom. I almost wanted to cry! Then I heard her say it was o.k and I got my picture taken with them and got their autographs!!! | |
