For those of you who don't know Kevin Smith is the man behind Clerks, Mallrats, And Chasing Amy. Besides writing and directing all three films he also acted in them as Silent Bob. He also owns a production company called View Askew. The company has produced several other films. Unfortunately none of them have been picked up by a distributor as of yet. Rising from obscurity to cult status in just four short years defiantly makes this film school dropout the premiere independent film-maker of his generation.
