I added my review Mad Love here.

JANUARY 17, 1998

I added my review of Batman: Gotham Adventures here.

JANUARY 14, 1998

I reworked the comics page so that it is now in three easier-to-navigate parts. This also involved the addition of my reivews for issues 8 and 9. To visit the main comics page, go here.

JANUARY 9, 1999

Loyal visitor, I would first like to express how sorry I am that it has been so long since I updated. In that time we've seen the release of three new comics, the "Batman: Animated" book (which I highly recommend), and we are only one day away from the premiere of "Batman Beyond" which airs on the WB tomorrow at 7 pm and recieved an A- from Entertainment Weekly (a very good grade). I have comic reviews, but I will wait to post them until I can separate the comic page into two or three more coherent sections. Also, The Bruce Timm Artwork Archive is now back, and you can see the links page for that. I'll have my review of Mad Love after it airs January 16th, and it may be the last new episode of Batman for quite sometime as the producers pumps out new Superman and Batman Beyond shows. But never fear! This website will continue to chronicle all things related to the New Batman Adventures as long as they are made. Welcome back, everyone!

NOVEMBER 7, 1998

I added my review of "Beware the Creeper" here. I also updated the upcoming episodes page.

I added my review of Gotham Adventures #7 here.

OCTOBER 10, 1998

I added my reviews of "Knight Time" and "Legends of the Dark Knight" here. Also updated the Upcoming Episodes page.

OCTOBER 8, 1998

I finally added my review of "Old Wounds" here. Since it's already Thursday, I don't plan on changing the Upcoming Episodes section until Saturday. Make sure you watch both Batman and Superman (which has a Batman-related storyline) this Saturday! They are both all-new and said to be very good.

SEPTEMBER 26, 1998

I added my review of "Animal Act" to the episodes page here. I also updated the upcoming episodes page.

SEPTEMBER 22, 1998

I added my reviews for "Cult of the Cat" and "Critters" to the episodes pages here.

SEPTEMBER 19, 1998

Updated the Upcoming Episodes section. My reviews of "Cult of the Cat" {ugh} and "Critters" {double ugh} will be up at the beginning of next week.

SEPTEMBER 17, 1998

I added a "home" page to the site. It has some original semi-animation which is supposed to be a spotlight looking for Batman, spotting him, and him disapearing. Unfortunitly, it doesn't look a lot like this, but what can you do? It's here.

SEPTEMBER 15, 1998

I added my review of Superman Adventures #25 to the "Comics" page as well as the review of "The Ultimate Thrill" to the "Episodes" page.

SEPTEMBER 14, 1998

As I write this, we're only half an hour away from the premiere of Batman. I just wanted to let you know that my reviews of Superman Adventures #25 and "The Ultimate Thrill" will probably be up sometime by Thursday if I'm lucky.

SEPTEMBER 12, 1998

I updated the upcoming episodes section ("This Week") and added the best animated figure custom site I've seen to the links page. Don't forget to watch the premiere of Batman this Monday, and look out for the schedule changes; Weekdays: 4:00-5:00pm, Weekends: 8:00-9:00am.

SEPTEMBER 11, 1998

I added my review of Batman: Gotham Adventures #6 to the comics page (it and Superman Adventures #25 guest-starring Batgirl are both available now). Don't miss tomorrow's "World's Finest" special and look for Batman's season premiere on Monday!

SEPTEMBER 9, 1998

I added better pictures to the Action Figures page. Also, Brian Cruz's WB Schedules site now has new season(!) Kids WB schedules. It's on the links page.

SEPTEMBER 5, 1998

I updated the upcoming episodes section ("This Week"). Also, a portion of the new "Young Justice #1,000,000" comic is illustrated in the animated style. It's pretty neat.

AUGUST 29, 1998

Not very much to report. There is a section devoted to the Batman/Superman movie on the official site. It's here. Also, I learned from Batman: The Animated Newsletter (see info. on the comics page) that on September 12th, when World's Finest airs again, there will be exclusive behind the scenes segments as well. Also, I updated the coming episodes section ("This Week"). And don't forget to check out the new "Toons" magazine that features a Batman Beyond poster and Batman episode guide. That's it for now!

AUGUST 24, 1998

I changed the link to Brian Cruz's WB Cartoons Page since it has now moved to a new server. It's on the links page.

AUGUST 22, 1998

I added a section for upcoming episodes here. I also added episode numbers to the episode pages and changed the format of the homepage a little. Also, if you're sick of the cover to the video of World's Finest, you can order a redesigned one (with Bruce Timm's cover to the comic adaptation) from Matt Cauley. He's an illustrator who spent some time working on the cover that has all the copyright, proof-of-purchase, and credits of the original. If you e-mail him, he'll send you an image of the cover to see what it looks like, as well as more information.

AUGUST 21, 1998

The Comic Book Continum has some information about the Batgirl/Supergirl teamup episode here.

AUGUST 20, 1998

Just some news about the Batman/Superman movie that was released a few days ago: There is no CD-Rom offer, as previously reported. It is only about an hour long, even though the box claims ninety minutes. There is no new footage. The comic book it comes with is the adaption of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, leading me to believe that they had an overstock of them when they packaged that movie, so they figured they'd do it with this one, too. I've also changed a few very minor things on the character pages.

AUGUST 18, 1998

Just a couple of things today. First of all, Dini, Timm, and Burnett have said that it's highly unlikely that they will do a Justice League animated series do to too many characters, trouble with villains, too many settings, etc. They said that it could happen someday, but probably not in the near future. The other thing is that today is the official release of "The Batman/Superman Movie," so go out in buy it. In my own personal opinion, it's the best animated Batman or Superman thing ever to be released on video. Included is a mini-comic book and an offer for a CD-Rom.

AUGUST 16, 1998

Just in case anyone's interested, my local Blockbuster Video store already has "The Batman/Superman Movie" for sale. It's $14.99 there (and technically not out until Tuesday). I didn't buy it, though. I'm waiting for it at Circuit City (where it's only $7.99!). I can report on the packaging, though. The cover is AWFUL! They should have had Bruce Timm, Ty Templeton, or Rick Burchett do it. It's hideous! The back, however, is pretty cool, with profiles of Batman and Superman facing each other on either side. Also, the free mini-comic book it comes with is packaged behind the cover but in front of the plastic case (the exact same way the "Mask of the Phantasm" comic was when that movie was released). I hope this is of use to some people. Happy hunting! HUGE, HUGE DC and Batman Beyond news from the San Diego ComicCon can be found at Raving Toy Maniac. They have the scoop, and it's great! Go here.

AUGUST 15, 1998

Mania now has a feature article on Batman Beyond. It includes interviews with the creators. If you want to, you can read it here.

AUGUST 14, 1998

I have a couple of new things to report. One is the joint review of "The Batman/Superman Movie" (aka World's Finest) and "Todd McFarlane's Spawn 2" from the new Entertainment Weekly. Here it is: These two animated tales are like diverging offshoots from one spring: One's crystal pure, the other cruddy and polluted. "The Batman/Superman Movie," an amalgam of two [actually 3 -Aaron] episodes of The WB's "New Batman/Superman Adventures" TV series, shows what first-rate storytelling can do for two enduring heroes and top-rung villains like the Joker and Lex Luthor. With whip-smart dialogue, feature-film-quality direction, and a romantic pentagle (featuring supersize egos, their alter egos, and the lovely Lois Lane) to die for, "Batman/Superman" is one of the richest superhero movies ever, period. But under its mask, "Spawn 2," culled from the HBO seres' second season, is just another numbing installment of the Al Simmons saga. The cartoon's ostentatious sex, violence, and harsh language now seem more desparate than cutting edge. "Spawn" executive producer McFarlane should steal a page from the "Batman/Superman" playbook: Superheroes are men of action; their stories ought to have some. "Batman/Superman:" A- "Spawn 2:" D+ -Marc Bernardin. Amen to that. What a great, glowing review that really puts "Spawn" in its place! Of course, this review is here because of the video release of the movie on Tuesday (which includes a mini-comic book and a CD-Rom offer). It's only S.R.P. at $14.95, so make sure you go out and buy it! Also, in today's installment of Andy Mangel's Hollywood Heroes at mania.com, there is a ton of "Batman Beyond" news. To read it, gohere.

AUGUST 13, 1998

I added my review of Batman: Gotham Adventures #5 to the Comics page. You can read it here. I also added a few items to my wanted list. If you think you might be able to help me out, check out the list here. Thanks!

AUGUST 12, 1998

I can't verify this for sure, but I have recieved information that the new season of The New Batman Adventures will, in fact, begin on September 19th with the episode "Old Wounds." As many of us know, this is a flashback episode in which Dick Grayson/Nightwing reflects about him leaving Batman and the mantle of Robin, etc. Also, another new episode has aired in Ireland. Called "Animal Act", the episode has Nightwing and Batman teaming up to track a mystery villain. Also, I'll try to have my review of Batman: Gotham Adventures #5 up tomorrow. And don't forget to look for the Knight Force Hero Collection action figure 4-pack in Targets now. It includes Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Robin and is priced at $19.99. Good Luck!!!

AUGUST 10, 1998

I just got back from a vaction to Chicago, so I haven't had time to read or review Batman: Gotham Adventures #5 yet (it's on the racks now!). I'll get that review out ASAP. HUGE New Batman/Superman Adventures news can be found in Andy Mangel's Hollywood Heroes at mania.com. You can read everything here.

JULY 31, 1998

I added a page to show some of my animated-style artwork. If you want to, you can check it out here. That's it, for now. And don't forget to pick up Batman: The Gotham Adventures #5 on August 5th!

JULY 28, 1998

Well, I decided to update to let everyone know the latest news from Wizard #85. Along with the Legion of Super-Heroes and Green Lantern, they say that Captain Marvel is slated to appear on Superman. Also, some Batman Beyond news: Terry McGinnis (to 17 year-old "Tomorrow Knight") will be voiced by Will Friedle of "Boy Meets World." The main villain is the Blight, a man who, in a fight with the original Batman years earlier, was exposed to a nerve gas which transformed him. He must wear and replace a layer of synthetic skin every 24 hours to sheild his luminescent skin from the public. His real name is Derek Powers. That's it for now. See you later!

JULY 27, 1998

I just wanted to let everyone know that I might not be updating for a little while, due to the fact that all of my pages now have content, and I'm going to be going on vaction a the beginning of next week. I'm also looking for someone who can try to keep me informed on the lastest Batman/Superman Adventures news, so I can get it out before everyone else (and have this page actually be of use to people!). Also, I'm trying to find pictures and information about Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett, Stan Berkowitz, Robert Goodman, Hilary J. Bader, Ty Templeton, Rick Burchett, and Terry Beatty. If you can help with any of this, PLEASE e-mail me.. Thanks!

JULY 26, 1998

I added the information to the Character page on Villains, as well as a request to the Creators page. I added a page for items that I'm currently looking for, so if you think you might be able to help me out, go here.

JULY 25, 1998

This is my first attempt at a news page. Just so you know, I don't have any connections or any means of finding information out before other people. All information here is information that I have read on other sites. If you want to contact me in order to give me new information, please do so by e-mailing me. Today, I added pictures of action figures and creators to the site. I also updated this page and the links page. In animated news, I have read that the Legion of Superheroes, Aquaman (with hand), and Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) will all have guest appearances on Superman. There is also talk of a Justice League appearance and/or ongoing series in the works! Wonder Woman might have a cameo appearance on Superman sometime, as well. Also, Kevin Conroy will indeed do the voice of a really old Bruce Wayne on Batman Beyond which will premiere om November 14th. I hope you have found this useful, and maybe have learned something. As always, comments and criticisms are welcome!
