Batman: The Animated Series debuted in 1992 on Fox and quickly recieved rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The first season consisted of 65 episodes, and won several Emmy Awards. The name was later changed to The Adventures of Batman and Robin and 15 new episodes gradually appeared. Finally, in it's last season, 5 more episodes were aired. No more were ordered and the show lived on only in reruns. The crew went on to create Superman: The Animated Series for the WB, and Batman seemed dead. But, Fox's rights to the series ran out, and the WB quickly snatched up the show and ordered new episodes. The characters and locations were slightly redesigned, and the mythos tweaked, but the show returned in fall of 1997 as part of The New Batman/Superman Adventures. This page is dedicated to the new incarnation of the show and everything pertaining to it. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy!
