One of the more comic trademarks of the James Bond series comes as the famous one liners uttered by Mr. Bond himself, and, indeed, often his adversaries. What is a one liner as collected here? It is a sequence of 1 to 4 lines where comedy is the clear culprit, and the punchline doesn't necessarily count toward the plotline. Sometimes, they are a stretch -- a little irony here, a little pun there, or one of the more famous "throwaway lines."

As with all human beings, I am not perfect, so if you catch a good one liner I do not have here or if I have erred in transcription, send me email. I have tended to avoid listing sight gags and humorous musical accompaniments, but anything is fair game. And since these one liners are in chronological order from within the film, unless you want to wait until the next time I watch the film again, tell me where it is in relation to other one liners (just wait until the next one liner in the film -- hopefully one I have! -- and tell me that one too to give me some context). And if it is unclear who speaks the lines or what they refer to, throw in some parenthetical explanation.
