Indy returns in a third film which begins with showing his youth in southern Utah and how he got his fedora and experience with a whip. It also shows the life-long pursuit his father has had in trying to find the Holy Grail. In the future, Indiana learns that his father has dissapeared while searching for another clue to the Grail in Venice, Italy. He tackles the assignment to both uncover the clue and find his father. His search leads him back again into the realms of the Nazis, including a trip into the heart of Berlin. He finds his father and he remembers why they don't talk, and together they go out to stop the Nazis from harnessing the power of the Cup of Christ.

Miscellaneous:
The trilogy inspired a television
series, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, in which a young Indy (at ages
10 and 17) travelled the world and met historical figures. Each episode
was "narrated" by an older Indy who was still alive in the 1990's (remember
the end of Crusade). One episode was narrated by Indy as we know
him best (by Harrison Ford, of course) and the narration was set in the
early 40's.

My Rating:
Of the three Indiana Jones films,
this is my favorite. The introduction of Indy's father was an interesting
touch, as well as the archetype of a quest on the search for the Grail.
I can hardly wait for the new film.
