Night At The Movies

Innerspace (1987) (Warner Brothers)

Synopsis:

After being passed up to become an astronaut, Tuck Pendleton offers himself to a science lab studying miniturization.  After Tuck is shrunk for the first time, a group of industrial espionage agents infiltrate the lab, and capture a chip, which is used in the re-enlargement process.  During the melee, the head researcher grabs the syringe Tuck is in and escapes, but not before being seen.  Chased into a mall, the researcher injects Tuck into a passerby, before he is killed by one of the agents.  The passerby is Jack Putter, a hyprochondriac who is ready to take a vacation.  When Tuck discovers where he is at, hilarity ensues as Jack tries to figure out what is happening to him.  A game of cat and mouse begins when the espionage agents realize what has happened and try to capture Jack.
