The Nox

Information:They are a very powerful race, much more than the goa'uld. They possess the ability to heal people and even bring them back to life. The Nox rescued and resurrected SG-1 after Apophis killed them in, "The Nox." The Nox protect another species called the "-----". The goa'uld hunt this species believing that they possess these magical powers. The Nox protect them by "hiding" them or making them disappear when a predator appears. The Goa'uld did not know of the Nox existence until SG-1 visited the planet. The Nox closed their stargate to Earth after this incident believing that they are "very young" or to primitive to understand their ways.

The Touched

Planet:The Land of Light
First AppearanceThe Broca Divide
Information:This was the name given to the portion of the population on "---" who were afflicted by the disease. SG-1 and SG-3 visited their planet and were afflicted with the disease. They found a cure and it was administered to the touched. As a result of this the touched no longer existed.

Information:: They are of the same race as the touched, but they have not been afflicted by the disease. Now the touched and the untouched live in harmony because of the efforts of SGC.

The Goa'uld

Information:Are larvae who rely on hosts to survive. They believe in conquering to better themselves. They are technologically advanced and capable of destroying planets. When a Goa'uld enhabits a host it is believed that nothing of the host survives. However becausee of SG-1'a experiences this has been proven wrong.

Information:Are Goa'uld who oppose the system lords. They do not believe in taking hosts against their will. Instead they inhabit hosts who are about to die, thus sustaining their lives and that of th host.

The Unity Crystal

Information:This is a very powerful crystal encountered by SG-1. The entire population except two crystals were wrongly destroyed by the goa'uld. These crystals have the ability to mimic other life forms. They also have a very unstable energy and they can break down and cause very massive reactions resulting in heavy radiation.

Information:They serve the Goa'uld. The Jaffa carry larva Goa'uld inside them until maturity when they can be implanetd in the host. The Jaffa also fight for the Goa'uld. There is a small portion of the Jaffa, such as Teal'C and Bra'Tek, who oppose the Goa'uld.

Information: Not much is known about the Tolans except that they are much more advanced that Humans. Their own world was destroyed because they gave their technology to a race more "primative" than them. They used it to create war, destroying their planet and that of teh Tolans. The surviving Tolans now reside with the Nox.

Information:Is the Goa'uld host. He was originally believed to be a myth until Teal'C and Colonel O'Neill met up with him in Thor's Hammer. Unas had great regenerative powers as a result of the Goa'uld making him very difficult to kill. Not much else is known.

Information:The Abydans are the first alien race Humans encountered. They are less advanced as a result of Ra's rule over them. They were forbidden to read or write. With the help of the first Stargate team they killed Ra and freed themselves.

Information:The Bersa are favoured as Goa'uld hosts. They have developed a sytem of escaping the Goa'uld, which is usually effective. Their justice system is opposite that of Earth's. They do not believe in innocent until proven guilty and they believe that the victim should decide punishment because only they know the pain that is caused by the crime.

Information:They were deemed the choosen ones by their God Phelops. Phelops shortened their lives to only 100 days so that he could observe human evolution in a shorter period of time. Until SG-1 arrived they believed this to be normal. Every evening at the same time they would fall asleep and awake at the same time the following morning. They were unable to venture from their village until the device that shortened their lives was destoryed.

Information:These are Thor's people. Their society and ways of life are similar to that of the ancient Asgards of Earth. On their planet is a device called Thor's hammer. Before it was destroyed by SG-1 it prevented the Goa'uld from coming to the planet. The Asgards are very skilled warriors as a result of their way of life.

Information:The Taldor are similar to justice. They do not believe in trials or different punishment for different crime. When someone commits a crime no matter what it is they are sentenced to life in prison. They do not negotiate.
