Elizabeth Hurley was born on June 10, 1965 in Hampshire, England. She's growing up in Basingstoke, England. When she was just a little girl, she's wanted to be a dancer. So she went to ballet boarding school at 12. But, she sooned returned home. When it came time to go to college, Hurley won a scholarship to the London Studio Center which taught courses for dance and theater. She became caught up in the English punk rock scene with pink hair and nose ring. Can you imagine that ? But to get work, she had to change her image to one that was castable. After college, Hurley worked in the theater and made her screen debut at the age of 21 in Bruce Beresford's movie Aria in 1987.  And then, she roles in Television, and a film Remando al viento (1987), which included a young actor named Hugh Grant. European films followed her appearance in the BBC serial "Christabel" (1988). In 1992, Hurley made her Hollywood film debut as a terrorist  in the Wesley Snipes action drama Passenger 57. When Hugh Grant was picked up with Divine Brown, Hurley became headline news. Added to this was the fact that she was the model representing top cosmetics house Estee Lauder, and there was no place Hurley could go to get away from the press. In 1994, Hurley and Hugh Grant founded Simian Films in partnership with Castle Rock Entertainment. As Head of Development, Hurley found the script and produced her first film Extreme Measures (1996), which stars Hugh Grant and Gene Hackman. Since producing Extreme Measures, the well-rounded Hurley has continued to be very busy with a plenty of projects. The film Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) was probably the biggest and and most successful of those projects. After that movie, Hurley appeared in the film Dangerous Ground (1997) with Ice Cube. And then, Hurley appeared in several films, Permanent Midnight (1998), My Favorite Martian (1999), Ed TV (1999), and became a cameo in Austin Powers 2: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley's newest project as a producer is Mickey Blue Eyes, a comedy movie that included Hugh Grant as a star.
