DEAD ALIVE

An absolute triumph among the low-budget horror films, "Dead Alive" is one of the most outrageous, goriest zombie films that has ever been made! Except for a comparatively sluggish second quarter, the film is consistently entertaining throughout. The dark humor never ends! Some of the best moments (there are so many to pick from!) are the Newt GangrichGingrich-like priest getting a female zombie pregnant, a corpse exploding from excess embalming fluid, the zombie baby getting some rough treatment in the park, and the hero mowing down the monsters. For maximum effect, watch this movie with some other people, for the laughter is contagious.

QUARTER BY QUARTER ANALYSIS OF MOVIE

OVERALL RATING

12 out of 12

** NOTE: The more dots on the domino, the better. A dozen dots indicates a terrific movie while no dots means it's just terrible. (Hmmm, now why does "terrific" mean good while "terrible" means bad, even though the words appear so similar?) **
