FRIDAY THE 13th, PART 3: 3-D

The title of this movie begs the question: Would it be too generous to actually call it "three-dimensional"? Essentially, the plot is just Jason killing ten people in a variety of ways while shrugging off a homicidal hanging, multiple stab wounds, and even axe choppings! Three of the victims are members of a laughably stupid biker gang while the seven others are mostly teenagers who can be thoroughly characterized using one or two adjectives. Thus, "Friday the 13th Part 3: 3-D" hardly qualifies as "three-dimensional", with or without the 3-D effects (there is a 3-D version, but as far as I know, it isn't available on home video). Even so, this horror movie has its good points such as a few amusing characters (like the prankster Shelley) and a considerable amount of gore. As a small bonus, it starts and ends with some delightfully cheezy synth music. All in all, "Friday the 13th Part 3: 3-D" is a fair horror movie.
