This movie is known by two titles, "Friday the 13th, Part 4" and "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter". It would be easy to write a tirade about how the moviemakers have lied to us by making more sequels (a tenth Friday the 13th film is to be released in the year 2000), but instead I'll just review the movie for what it is. Jason does more of the same, and this sequel is mostly noteworthy for including Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman in its cast. Glover plays a similar nerdy character to his George McFly role in "Back to the Future", and eventually he gets lucky with a pretty girl (like he did in "Back to the Future"). Unfortunately, he doesn't get to say a lot of memorable lines in "Friday the 13th, Part 4". Feldman has a more interesting part in this movie, especially when he does a half-assed job shaving his head in preparation of hacking Jason to pieces. Aside from Glover, Feldman, some skinny dipping and shower scenes, there isn't much reason to watch this run-of-the-mill slasher movie. |

** NOTE: The more dots, the better it is. 12 dots indicates a masterpiece while no dots means it's a "disasterpiece." ** |
