For those of you who have yet to see a movie made by Full Moon, just remember what moons are full of and you'll know what to expect. Not that anyone can expect much from a sixth sequel, but somewhere along the way they've forgotten the horror aspect of this series. The killer puppets are no longer to be feared since they fight on the side of good this time, and their enemies are merely a trio of bumbling supernatural assassins. Aside from some nifty puppet animation, there is very little eye-candy in this movie to make up for its shortcomings. Even though the movie does reveal some secrets behind the origin of the puppets, it hardly qualifies as a worthwhile viewing experience. The bottom line: "Puppet Master 7: Retro Puppet Master" puts the Z's in Z-grade movies. Zzzzzzz... |
