Pictures from Minneapolis

Minneapolis was a pretty cool place and the weather was excellent. After being in Houston with 90+ degree weather, Minneapolis was a nice change. I was there for the BFMA Conference. I got to see a little bit of everything and it was great. A trolley tour is definitely the way to go. We got to see all of the city and explore the area. It wasn't that expensive either, just $10 to ride all day.

This is one of the pieces that is included in the collection at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. This is a fountain not too far from our hotel. It's also a place for people to hang out.
This is another piece available at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. The
horse looks like wood, but it is really
bronze. That's me, by the way.
This is also at the Sculpture Garden. It's a huge glass fish that wouldn't fit in the picture.
This is a old church not too far from our hotel. It was built in the late 1800s or the early 1900s. This is the Mississippi River. I took this picture when we took a Trolley tour around the city.

This was taken at Mall of America. I'm on the left and Tammy is on the right. She's the other person that came with me from NASA.

This is Tammy and Karen at Mall of America. Karen works for JPL (guess us NASA folks have to stick together).
This is downtown Minneapolis. This was taken at Mall of America. I just couldn't pass up taking a picture of the space station.
This was also taken at Mall of America. It was cool because the dinosaurs moved and their eyes would light up. That place was just too cool.
