11/03/01 2:14am The Yankees are unbelievable... As much as I hate to admit it, they are unbelievable. Two straight games, they got a two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. Then they go on to win it in extra innings. Baseball has never seen anything like this. I'm routing for a game 7, but I'm torn on who to cheer for. On the one hand, they're the Yankees, I'm born to hate them, and then on the other hand, I hate Arizona too. Not so much the team, but the fans and the ballpark. The fans boo Matt Williams, who is one of the better defensive third baseman around. Then he hits a three-run homer in the NLCS, and all of a sudden, the fans embrace him. I hate that. I also hate their stadium. If you have seen pics of this stadium, you'll know what I mean. The place is more of a shopping mall than a "baseball park". They have a swimming pool in the center field stands, which is cool to a lot of people, but it's not what baseball is about. Baseball is about Fenway Park, Camden Yards, and Wrigley Field. So, I guess I'm cheering for the Yanks in 7 games. This is probably the last time I'll ever hope the Yanks win. But, don't get me wrong, I won't be heart-broken if Arizona wins it.
11/01/01 12:14pm Halloween I hope everyone had a good Halloween last night. If you have any pics, or funny stories, send them to me. I'll put them on Pramas.com for all to see. Apparently, the Pheasant Lane Mall wasn't bombed, so that means I'm going to work soon. Just wanted to give you all some quick links to check out. Enjoy...
10/30/01 11:14am Quick update... Hey everyone, sorry for not updating again, but an emergency came up. For the people that know what's going on, I really appreciate all the prayers and good thoughts that have been sent. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon. Just a few updates here: new babe of the week, and because I fell a few days behind Simpson's Trivia, I have a bunch of questions on to catch up. I'll get some more stuff up later on in the week. Thanks everyone. Copyright © 2001-2002 Pramas.com. All rights reserved. |
