1958  Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone was born

1965 Her mother dies

1976 She wins a full scholarship for dancing at Michigan University

1978 Madonna moves to New York and wins a new scholarship at the Alvin Ailey School 

1979 She recibes the offer to travelling to Paris as a singer with Patrick Hernández (she comes back to New York 6 months later)

             She forms the band Breakfast Club with Dan Gilroy and his brother Ed.

              Steve Bray and her participates in different bands such as: Madonna, The Millonaires, Modern Dance y Emmy. (they were all the same but they changed the name)

1980     Films the movie “A certain sacrifice”

1981     Madonna meets DJ Mark Kamins who was the first dj to play her early singles at the disco Danceteria and then he introduces her to Seimour Stein, Sire Records Manager.

1982   Madonna records her first successful singles “Everybody” and “Burning Up”

1983 She launched her first album called simply “MADONNA”

1984 Madonna´s first presentation in MTV performing  “Like a Virgin” while ”LIKE A VIRGIN”  album is exploting at music shops.

1985 Virgin Tour starts in Seattle

           Madonna takes part of  “Vision Quest” movie, and also records its soundtrack.

            She married Sean Penn.

            "Desesperatly seeking Susan"´s premier, the film which Madonna shares with the youing actress Roxana Arquette.

1986 Madonna´s third album “TRUE BLUE”

           She releases “Shangai Surprise” with her husband Sean Penn.

1987 She wins the American Music Award for Best Female Video Pop/Rock

           “Who´s that girl Tour" (her first world tour) is started in Japan.

           “WHO´S THAT GIRL” is launched.

           “Who´s that girl” film premier.

            She also launches another album (her fifth one) with remixed singles, and is called “YOU CAN DANCE”

1988  She takes part of the only one theatre performance in Broadway, “Speed The Plow”

1989 She signs a millonaire contract with PEPSI, the commercial is distributed all over the world and is watched by millons of people.

           “Bloodhounds of Broadway”´s premier.

            Blonde Ambition Tour

            MTV presentation, she performs a great version of Vogue

           “I´m Breathless” (her sixth album) is available all over the world.

            The film “Dick Tracy” is a great success

            Her seventh album “The Inmaculate Collection” is launched.

           The exhibition of “JUSTIFY MY LOVE” video is prohibitted by MTV.

           A Video single is launced for the first time in history, it is called “Justify my love”

1990  She wins the American Music Award as Best Female Single Dance Video with Vogue.

            Madonna sings at the Oscars Ceremony performing “Sooner or Later”

           “Truth or Dare” world premier.

1991 MAVERICK is born.

           “A league of their own”

1992 Eighth album  “Erotica”

           “SEX” is read all over the world.

1993 She takes part in two movies  “Body of Evidence” and “Dangerous Games”

           “The Girlie Show Tour” starts.

1994  Her nineth album is launched "Bedtimes Stories"

1995    She does two beautiful compaigns for Gianni Versace.

           “Something to Remember” (tenth album)

1996    “EVITA” fim making starts in march in Argentina.

            Lourdes Maria is born.

            She records “The Evita Soundtrack” (eleventh album)

1997 She wins the Golden Globe Award as Best Actress

          She sings “You must love me” at the Oscars

1998 "Ray of light" is recorded.

1999   Madonna is nominated at the Grammys and wins 4 them, including Best Pop Female Singler.

            She records the song “Beautiful Stranger” , her biggest hit in many years, the song belongs to the Austin Powers Movie Soundtrack..  

2000   She is the chief charater at the film "The Next Best Thing" and also participates in its soundtrack with the single "American Pie".
