(Scene 1-The setting: General Hospital. Audrey Hardy has just been admitted to the hospital with a brain injury. Everyone is very concerned about her, as visitors come and go from her room. Suddenly, a young blond girl arrives at the hospital to see Audrey)
Amy (approaches the girl, who seems to be lost): "Excuse me, may I help you?"
Sarah: "Yes, I'm looking for Gram."
Amy: "Who?"
Sarah: "Gram." (Amy looks confused). "Oh, you may know her as Audrey Hardy..."
Amy: "Oh yes! You are her granddaughter?"
Sarah: "Yes, my name is Sarah Webber. How is she?"
Amy: "Well, your grandmoth..." (Sarah gives her a confused look) "Oh, I mean, gram has some serious injuries....maybe she'd welcome your visit."
Sarah: "Ok." (Sarah is about to enter the room, and she runs into Lucky Spencer) "Oh, excuse me."
Lucky: "Sorry man..."
(Lucky looks at her, trying to figure out if he recognizes her face)
Sarah: "Oh, my name is Sarah. By the way, I'm an 'A' student."
Lucky (looking disinterested): "That's great...I'm Lucky Spencer. Are you new in town?"
Sarah: "Actually, I'm just here to see Gram. She's in the hospital."
(Sarah looks into Audrey's room)
Lucky: "Oh, Mrs. Hardy is your grandmother?"
Sarah: "No, she's my gram."
Lucky: "I thought that's what I said...."
Sarah: "Listen, I know something that will cheer Gram up, but I need your help."
Lucky: "Ok..."
Sarah: "Could you go to Gram's house and bring Gatsby to see her? I know she'd like that."
Lucky: "Um, you want me to bring a cat to the ER?"
Sarah: "Yes, what's wrong with that?"
Lucky: "Um...nothing I guess....I just wasn't sure if they allowed cats in the hospital..."
Sarah: "Of course they do....I told you I was an 'A' student, I know these things. Just do it, ok? If you do, I'll go on a date with you."
Lucky (looking confused): "I'll do it, but the date isn't necessary."
(Lucky exits the scene)
Sarah (thinking to herself): "That guy wants me...but why should I be surprised? All the guys I meet want me. Heck, I'm Sarah Webber!"

(Scene 2-The setting: Wyndemere. Nikolas and Stefan are having a conversation in the living room)
Nikolas: "You wanted to see me Uncle?"
Stefan: "Yes, I did."
Nikolas: "What is this about?"
Stefan: "Nikolas, I believe it is the correct opportunity for yourself to commence responsibilities at the hospital. I would appreciate it if you would function in an administrative capacity."
Nikolas: "What would you like me to do?"
Stefan: "You will be conducting yourself as the leader of the volunteer program in the pediatric ward."
Nikolas: "I would love that Uncle. When can I start?"
Stefan: "You may commence your duties immediately, if you so wish."
Nikolas: "Great!"
(Nikolas exits and heads to the hospital. Katherine enters)
Katherine: "Nikolas sure looked happy just now, what was that about?"
Stefan: "I just promoted Nikolas for a administrative position at the hospital. He will be conducting himself as the co-ordinator of the volunteer program."
Katherine (looks confused): "Stefan, could you please say that in English?"
Stefan: "Oh, it is not to be worried about at this juncture. Just be assured that Nikolas' joyous mood is for good reason."
Katherine: "Huh?"
(Stefan shakes his head, and the scene ends)

(Scene 3-The setting: General Hospital. Sarah is sitting with Audrey at her bedside)
Sarah: "Oh Gram, you just have to be ok! Remember all the times...well, I actually don't remember you. But I did mail you my first ‘A'. And my second, and my third...oh Gram, I wish you'd wake up! Please Gram!" (Audrey begins to stir) "Gram? Gram?"
Audrey (opens her eyes, takes a deep breath, and focuses herself): "Who...who are you?"
Sarah: "It's me Gram! It's Sarah!"
Audrey (trying to remember): "Hmm, I have grandchildren: Tommy Jr.--I wonder where he went by the way--and Stephen Lars...why don't I remember a ‘Sarah'?"
Sarah: "I guess nobody ever told you about me, which is surprising considering how great I turned out to be. I'm Stephen Lars' sister, Jeff's daughter. I'm perfect in every way, and you are lucky enough to have me for a granddaughter Gram."
Audrey: "Gram...since when does anyone call me that?"
Sarah: "Since now...I'm so glad you're awake Gram, I came all this way just to be with you. Can I stay at your house? Please? I'm perfect, so you won't hear a peep out of me. And I'll cook and do all the dishes for you..."
Audrey: "Of course you can stay with me, you're my granddaughter--I think."
Sarah: "Thanks Gram, I'll come by and see you a little later."
(Sarah hugs Audrey, and exits the room where she bumps into Nikolas Cassadine)
Nikolas: "Oh, I'm sorry. Are you ok?"
Sarah (stares at him, obviously attracted to him): "Um, yeah." (she looks toward the ground, and clears her throat) "Yes, I'm ok. Are you?"
Nikolas: "Yes, thank you."
(Nikolas begins to walk away)
Sarah (trying to get Nik's attention): "I'm Sarah. Sarah Webber. I'm an 'A' student."
Nikolas: "That's nice. I'm Nikolas, and I'm so smart, I don't even go to regular school. I have private tutors."
Sarah: "Oh yeah? Well, I......um....I......well, what are you doing here?"
Nikolas: "I'm running the pediatric volunteer program here. I'm so rich, my uncle owns the hospital."
Sarah: "Yeah, well.......my gram works here!"
Nikolas: "Yeah? What's her name?"
Sarah: "I just told you, it's Gram."
Nikolas: "No, I mean her real name." (Sarah looks at him, confused) "You know, the one she was born with?"
Sarah: "Oh yeah! I think I remember...yes, it's Audrey. Audrey Hardy."
Nikolas: "Mrs. Hardy...yes, she's really nice."
Sarah: "Yeah, I guess so. So, can I become a volunteer too?"
Nikolas: "Sure, I'm headed to the volunteers meeting right now. Follow me."
Sarah (thinking to herself): "That guy wants me too. Well, obviously! I mean, look at me! Have you ever seen anything more perfect?"
(Nikolas and Sarah exit, and the scene ends)

(Scene 4-The setting: General Hospital. Nikolas is meeting with the new hospital volunteers)
Nikolas: "Hello everyone, I am Nikolas Cassadine--as if you didn't know--and my uncle owns this hospital. Therefore, you are to do everything I say, when I say it. Understood?"
Sarah (responding alone and emphatically, obviously trying to impress him): "Yes Nikolas, whatever you say."
(Everyone stares at her, and Nikolas looks embarrassed)
Nikolas: "Ok everyone, get to work. I'm going to stay here and play with the toys. We never had toys in Greece. As a child, I used to play the stock market..."
(The volunteers exit, but Sarah stays behind)
Nikolas (looks up from his game boy): "May I help you?"
Sarah: "Yes, I love you. I know we just met, but I love you."
Nikolas: "Um...that's nice."
Sarah: "What, you don't love me? How can you not? Look at me. I'm blond, I'm beautiful, I have nice bangs, and I'm an ‘A' student."
Nikolas: "Yes, but can you speak French?"
Sarah (looking surprised): "Pardon me?"
Nikolas: "You heard me. Can you speak french?"
Sarah (looking flustered): "Um...well...um...no, but I can learn, I swear!"
(Robin Scorpio enters the room. Nikolas turns to her, and his face lights up)
Nikolas: "Hi Robin!"
Robin: "Hello Nikolas! Are you ready to go?"
Nikolas: "Oui mademoiselle!"
Robin: "Oh Nikolas! J'aime le francais! Tu parles tres beau! C'est romantique!"
Nikolas: "Allez mon cherie!"
(Nikolas and Robin exit the scene, leaving a visibly jealous Sarah alone in the room)
Sarah (thinking to herself): "I must learn french, I must! Maybe I should follow them. I mean, I do love him so....yeah, I'm gonna follow them."
(Sarah races out of the room, and the scene ends)

(Scene 5-The setting: Nik and Robin are in the park, having a conversation. Sarah is in the bushes, spying on them)
Robin: "Wow, it's such a beautiful day. I can't believe how bright the sun is shining."
Nikolas: "Well, I asked my family to hide the weather machine, as to not spoil this great weather."
(Nikolas and Robin both laugh. Sarah takes out a pad of paper and a pen. She writes "possible topics of conversation--weather machines")
Nikolas: "I think I hear something."
(Sarah crouches down as Nik looks toward the bushes)
Robin: "I didn't hear anything. It's probably just the wind."
Nikolas: "Maybe you're right. Back to this great weather....maybe you'd like to go riding with me one day. Have you ever been?"
Robin: "No, never. But I'd love to."
Nikolas: "Great!"
(Sarah again writes "Note to self--learn to ride". Nikolas looks toward the bushes)
Nikolas: "Now I KNOW I heard something!"
Robin (turns to look, as Sarah runs away): "I think you're right....wait, I saw something...or someone..."
Nikolas: "Where?"
Robin: "They just ran away, from there."
(Robin points to where Sarah was crouching)
Nikolas: "What did they look like?"
Robin: "Well, I only caught a glimpse....I just saw eyes, and perfectly straight bangs..."
Nikolas (saying softly to himself "perfectly cut bangs, eyes..."): "Wait! It must have been that Sarah girl!"
Robin: "Who?"
Nikolas: "That girl who was with me when you came by the hospital, remember?"
Robin: "Vaguely....but why would she follow us?"
Nikolas: "She said she loved me.....Honestly, she scares me....Anyone who spends that much time on their bangs must have certain issues."
(Robin and Nik look at each other with concern on their faces. The scene ends)

(Scene 6: The setting-Audrey's house. Sarah arrives home and is about to go inside)
Sarah (talking to herself): "Ok, so I need to learn French. No problem! J'est un miroir.....wait. That's not right, is it?"
Lizzie (sitting on the porch): "Sarah, you're pathetic..."
Sarah (looks over at Lizzie, surprised): "Lizzie, what are you doing here? You better not be here to steal Nikolas from me!"
Lizzie: "Who?"
Sarah: "Nikolas Cassadine. I love him, you know..."
Lizzie: "What, you've been here a week and you already have a boyfriend?"
Sarah: "What, are you surprised? Hello? I'm Sarah, remember? And you will never measure up to my perfectness...."
Lizzie: "Yeah, ok. Whatever...so, how's Audrey?"
Sarah: "Who?"
Lizzie: "Our grandmother?" (Sarah looks at her, confused) "Oh yeah, I forgot...how's Gram?"
Sarah: "She great, she's awake now, thanks to me."
Lizzie: "What, are you a doctor now? Please!"
Sarah: "Well, I was talking to her when she woke up...."
Lizzie: "Yeah, ok....so what's with the french? I'm sitting here and you're calling yourself a mirror. What's up with that?"
Sarah: "Nikolas speaks french...."
Lizzie: "Well, we all know that the mirror is your favorite accessory, but you better get the language straight before you talk to him. You wouldn't want to call him ‘un chien'..."
Sarah (thinking to herself "chien? What's a chien? ARGH!!!"): "Well, you're just jealous because mom and dad like me better!"
(Sarah is visibly upset, and storms into the house. Lizzie shakes her head, and the scene ends)

(Scene 7: The setting-Audrey's house. Sarah is getting ready to go volunteering when Lizzie approaches)
Lizzie: "Where are you going?"
Sarah: "To volunteer at the hospital. Nikolas is a volunteer...."
Lizzie (rolling her eyes): "Great....Would you mind if I went with you? I'd love to stop in and see our grandmother." (Sarah looks at her, angrily) "Oh, I mean, I'd love to see Gram."
Sarah: "That's better....Yes, we'll go together. Just stay away from Nikolas!"
Lizzie: "Um, ok. No problem."
(The girls leave the house, and the scene ends)

(Scene 8-The setting: General Hospital. Sarah and Lizzie get off the elevator. Nikolas walks by)
Sarah: "Oh, there goes Nikolas! I'm going to go stalk...oh, I mean, catch him." (calling) "Nikolas!!!
(Sarah exits, and Liz looks around at her unfamiliar surroundings. Suddenly, Lucky Spencer approaches)
Lucky: "Hi, are you lost?"
Lizzie: "Yes, I'm looking for Mrs. Hardy's room. She's my grandmother."
Lucky: "Oh, I met your sister the other day. She made me bring Mrs. Hardy's cat to the hospital..."
Lizzie (rolls her eyes): "Sounds like Sarah. She hasn't been the same since she got her bangs cut...By the way, I'm Elizabeth, but my friends call me Lizzie."
Lucky: "Hi Lizzie, I'm Lucky Spencer. It's nice to meet you."
Lizzie: "You too...Would you happen to know what room my grandmother is in?"
Lucky: "Sure, let me take you there...." (Lucky shows Liz to Audrey's room) "I'll wait for you if you want, I'd like to get to know you a little better....."
Lizzie (blushes): "Sure. That would be great. I'll see you in a few minutes..."
(Liz enters the room, as Lucky smiles and sits in the waiting area. The scene ends)

(Scene 9-The setting: GH. Sarah has finally caught up to Nikolas, who has been doing his best to get away)
Sarah: "Nikolas, I'm so glad that I caught up to you! I've been calling your name...why didn't you answer?"
Nikolas (looking down at his papers): "Oh, I must not have heard you."
Sarah: "That's ok, we're together now. That's all that matters..."
Nikolas (looks at her with disdain): "I really need to get to work...."
Sarah: "Wait! We have to talk about us!"
Nikolas: "What?"
Sarah: "You know, about our relationship. I really think this is going to work out..."
Nikolas (interrupting): "What relationship? What are you talking about?"
Sarah: "I love you Nikolas! You know that. And you love me too!"
Nikolas: "What are you, crazy? I'm with Robin, and that's the way I want it...."
Sarah: "What, because she can speak french? Well, listen to this! Je suis un grand boite de cheveux."
Nikolas (laughs): "Well, Luke Spencer does call Katherine that a lot...."
Sarah: "What...What did I say? Was I wrong? I'll keep practicing, I promise!!!"
Nikolas: "Listen to me! I don't want to be rude, but....I'm not interested! I'm happy with Robin, so I would ask you to please stop following me!"
Sarah (begins to sing): "Me, loving you, loving me....With every beat of my heart...."
Nikolas (looks at her, confused): "What is THAT?"
Sarah (looking disappointed): "It's our song Nikolas!" (sings) "Deep in my soul, I believe..."
Nikolas (interrupts again): "We don't have a song! There is no 'we!' Would you please just leave me alone?"
(Nikolas rushes away, with Sarah following, singing "Me, loving you, loving me." The scene ends)

(Scene 10-the setting: GH. Lucky and Liz meet up in the waiting area)
Lucky: "How's Mrs. Hardy doing?"
Lizzie: "She's much better....they are discharging her soon, within the next few days."
Lucky: "That's great news, I'm really glad to hear it....So, where are you from?"
Lizzie: "Chicago....but my parents are in Bosnia, so they gave me a choice: Port Charles, or Bosnia...It wasn't a difficult decision..." (Liz smiles at Lucky, and he returns the smile) "So, have you lived in Port Charles all your life?"
Lucky: "Actually, I've lived in a lot of places: Canada, Switzerland,....but Port Charles is home..."
Lizzie: "That sounds nice...."
(Sarah enters the waiting area, and glares at Liz)
Sarah (sounding disgusted): "So, how's Gram?"
Lizzie (looking confused): "She's fine, they are going to discharge her soon....Why are you so teed off?"
Sarah: "What are you doing talking to him?"
(Sarah gestures toward Lucky)
Lizzie: "What do you mean?"
Sarah: "I asked you...why are you talking to him?"
Lucky: "We were just getting to know each other....what is your problem, 'man?'"
Sarah (glares at Lucky): "Would you excuse us please?"
Lucky: "Fine." (he turns to Liz) "I'll talk to you later."
(Lucky smiles at Liz, and exits the scene)
Lizzie: "What the heck was that about?"
Sarah: "I can't believe that you were talking to him!"
Lizzie: "What? He wasn't Nikolas, so what's your problem?"
Sarah: "Lucky wants me."
Lizzie: "Excuse me?"
Sarah: "He wants me, and therefore, you can't speak to him. You know I get to have a monopoly on all the cute guys...You don't talk to anyone unless I say, got it? Remember, I'm the good and perfect sister. One word from me and you'll be on your way to Bosnia..."
Lizzie: "I am NEVER going to Bosnia, I'd do ANYTHING to avoid that fate....watch your back, sis...."
(Lizzie leaves, and the scene ends)

(Scene 11-The setting: Audrey's house. Sarah and Lizzie are talking)
Sarah: "They'll be releasing Gram from the hospital soon...."
Lizzie: "I know that, I'm the one who told you!"
Sarah: "I think it would be great if I threw Gram a ‘welcome home' party, and invited all her friends from the hospital..."
Lizzie: "That's a good idea Sarah, I'd like to help if that's ok...."
Sarah: "No way! I want all the credit for this. Gram will love me even more than she does now!"
Lizzie: "Fine, do what you want...."
(Liz exits the scene)
Sarah (talking to herself): "Hmm, let me make a guest list...Nikolas!!!! Amy, Bobbie...Heck, why don't I just invite everyone from the hospital? Yeah! What a great idea!"
(Sarah begins to write up the invitations, and thinks better of it)
Sarah: "Wait, I don't know that many of Gram's friends...why don't I just post something on the hospital bulletin boards?"
(Sarah designs a poster and makes copies. It reads "You are all invited to a ‘welcome home' party for Gram...4:00pm, Tuesday")
Sarah: "Yes, Gram would just love a welcome home party! But, I'll have to ask Nikolas to come in person..."
(Sarah heads for the hospital, flyers in hand, and the scene ends)

(Scene 12-The setting: GH. Sarah is posting her flyers as Nikolas catches her attention)
Sarah: "Nikolas!!!"
Nikolas (saying to himself "oh no!"): "Um...Oh, hi Sarah."
(Nikolas begins to walk away)
Sarah: "Wait! Um...." (Sarah looks at her notes) "So, um, how's that weather machine?"
Nikolas: "What???"
Sarah (thinking to herself "maybe I wrote that down wrong. Let me try again"): "Um....I've always wanted to learn to ride....it seems like it would be fun."
Nikolas: "It is."
Sarah (smiles): "Maybe some day you can teach me...."
Nikolas: "Well, the horses back at the island have a tendency to buck unfamiliar riders.....Hmm. On second thought, maybe you'd like to come after all!"
Sarah: "Um...no, that's ok, really..."
(Nikolas again begins to leave)
Sarah: "Nikolas, wait!!! We're having a welcome home party for Gram, and since I know that you like her, I thought maybe you'd like to come...."
Nikolas: "When is it?"
Sarah: "Tuesday, 4:00, at Gram's place."
Nikolas: "Ok, I'll think about it....."
(Nik leaves, and Sarah smiles, thinking "Ha! He does want me! I knew it!" Sarah continues to post flyers about the party. People are walking by and reading them with confusion, thinking "Gram?" The scene ends)

(Scene 13--the setting: Audrey's welcome home party. Only Nik, Robin, Sarah, Lucky and Liz are there to greet Audrey as she is about to enter)
Sarah: "Hey everyone! I think she's coming! Put these on!"
(Sarah takes out some party hats, and hands one to everyone)
Robin (turning to Nikolas): "I think I'm having a case of deja vu. Brenda always makes me wear these stupid hats on her birthday."
Nikolas (confused): "On HER birthday?"
Robin: "Yeah, well, she's been through a lot, so I don't ever complain. She might come after me again if I do...."
Nikolas: "Come after you? "
Robin: "Yeah. Sometimes she picks up a tripod and chases me with it, sometimes it's her scissors..."
Nikolas: "That's terrible!"
Sarah (turns toward them): "Please stop talking! Gram's coming!"
(Robin and Nik put the hats on, as Robin rolls her eyes...Audrey enters the house)
Everyone (yelling): "SURPRISE!!!!!"
Audrey: "What's going on?"
Sarah: "I decided to throw you a surprise party!!!"
Audrey: "Oh my! Thanks for coming everyone...." (Audrey turns to Sarah) "Where are MY friends???"
Sarah: "I don't know....I posted flyers all over the hospital publicizing the party...."
Robin: "Really? I didn't see any, and I was there just yesterday."
(Sarah turns to Robin and gives her a dirty look)
Nikolas (to Robin): "I saw them....she posted 'surprise party for Gram'...."
Robin: "Who?"
Sarah (who has overheard their conversation): "GRAM!!! Party for Gram!"
Audrey: "What??? That's what you wrote? No wonder no one showed up!" (She turns to everyone) "I really want to thank you for coming, but I'm really tired....I'd like to sleep now...."
(Audrey goes upstairs)
Sarah: "You heard Gram....everyone can leave now, unless YOU want to stay Nikolas...."
Nikolas: "No, I think Robin and I are going to leave now....."
(Robin and Nik exit. Sarah looks disappointed, as the camera pans to Lucky and Lizzie)
Lucky: "Pretty lame party...."
Lizzie: "Yeah, but that's what happens when we let Sarah plan things."
Lucky: "Your sister is pretty wacked out, 'man'."
Lizzie: "Tell me about it...she has everyone totally snowed. They all think she can do no wrong..."
Lucky: "Well, they're all mistaken....as far as I'm concerned, I'm talking to the better Webber sister...."
(The two smile at each other, and Lizzie blushes....Sarah walks over to them...)
Sarah: "Thanks for nothing Lizzie...."
Lizzie: "What's your problem now?"
Sarah: "Why didn't you help me with the party?"
Lizzie: "Hello?? You didn't want my help, remember?"
Sarah: "Well, you can kiss Port Charles goodbye.....it's off to Bosnia for you...."
Lucky: "You're totally messed up 'man'! Lizzie's not going anywhere, but you might be if you don't watch your back...."
(Lucky glares at Sarah, and the scene ends)

(Scene 14--the setting: Wyndemere. Nikolas is talking to Stefan about Sarah)
Stefan: "Nikolas, how was Mrs. Hardy's welcome home party? I would have attended myself, but I had a previous engagement that needed my immediate attention..."
Nikolas: "It was ok Uncle, but I think I have a problem..."
Stefan: "What seems to be your dilemma Nikolas?"
Nikolas: "Well, it's Audrey's granddaughter, Sarah Webber. She's in love with me. In fact, she's been following me around and making quite a nuisance of herself."
Stefan: "I take it you do not share the same feelings as the Webber girl."
Nikolas: "No Uncle, I don't. You know how I feel about Robin....This is becoming a problem, I might have to put a stop to it myself if she doesn't cease with bothering me."
(Nikolas looks at Stefan, and exits. Katherine Bell enters a few moments later, where she finds Stefan deep in thought)
Katherine: "Stefan, where were you just now?"
Stefan: "I have not left the comfort of my dark and dreary living room for hours..."
Katherine: "No, I mean, you were so deep in thought....Sorry. I should really stop with these Americanisms...."
Stefan: "My apologies....I quite enjoy learning new American 'slang', as you call it."
Katherine: "So, what were you thinking about?"
Stefan: "Nikolas has found himself in quite a predicament....." (Katherine looks confused, as Stefan continues) "A young woman has developed....how do you Americans say....feelings for him."
Katherine: "What's wrong with that?"
Stefan: "Nikolas has no desire to be with this person, because of his commitment to Robin Scorpio. And the girl has taken the liberty to pursue Nikolas at all opportunities...I fear that he may no longer be able to manage this ludicrous obsessive behaviour from the Webber girl..."
(Katherine is just standing there, totally lost)
Stefan: "You have not comprehended a single utterance that I have spoken, have you?"
Katherine (looking confident): "Yes I have!"
Stefan: "Ok, of what did I speak?"
Katherine: "Huh?"
Stefan: "Oh geez! I asked, ‘what did I say'?"
Katherine (looking flustered): "Um, well, um...you mentioned Nikolas......Oh. I'm sorry Stefan. I'm trying, I really am!"
(Stefan looks at Katherine with disappointment and exits, and the scene ends)

(Scene 15--the setting: Audrey's room. Sarah is talking to Audrey about the party)
Sarah: "Gram, I hope you enjoyed your party...."
Audrey: "It was a nice thought, but you should have invited my friends too."
Sarah: "I'm sorry Gram! But I didn't know them all, and I thought the flyers would do the trick..."
Audrey: "Sarah, you posted flyers that said ‘surprise party for Gram'...."
Sarah: "Yeah! That's your name!"
Audrey: "That's NOT my name! No one else EVER calls me that! How were they supposed to know that Gram was me?"
Sarah (beginning to cry): "I'm so sorry Gram, I'll do better next time, I promise!"
Audrey: "Listen, do you think you could make one comment to me without prefacing it with the word Gram?"
Sarah: "What do you mean Gram?"
Audrey (looking irritated): "Say something to me, just one sentence. And DON'T use the word Gram! It's driving me crazy!!!"
Sarah: "Oh, I'm sorry Gram...oops, I mean.....oh, I'm so sorry Gram, I can't do this!!!"
(Sarah rushes out of the room in tears, and the scene ends)

(Scene 16--the setting: Wyndemere. Stefan is alone in the cellar. He uncovers Laura's portrait)
Stefan: "Oh Lasha, you are the only one who ever understood my constant ramblings....I thought I could eradicate you from my memory by shooting and then seducing Katherine, but it has not happened the way I had desired.....I require for you to return from your travels, so that I will have someone to converse with in an intellectual context......I yearn for you.........Our son is his own quandary with this young Webber girl....She is a relative of yours, I believe.....Anyway, she has developed an unsettling desire for Nikolas, and no matter on how many occasions he informs her of his disinterest, she continues in her pursuit of him....I always vowed to you that I would defend Nikolas from any unwanted obstacles, so just be notified that the Webber girl will be eliminated if she precipitates any other dilemmas for our son....Goodbye Lasha, it was nice conversing with you....."
(Stefan covers the portrait, and the scene ends)
