April 2000

Happy Easter!!! April 23rd 2000 It has been a while but this updated is here. In this Easter update Read all about the Roger Rabbit Accident. Hear how DCA is coming along (very good News), but with all good news there is usually some bad and with this update it is no diffrent. The parade has been fixed up for the better, "Believe" is still going strong and whats the word on Animazment?

Roger Rabbit Accident

On Tuesday the 18th around 10:30 p.m.  a 13-year-old was on Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin when her lower right leg became stuck under the car she was riding in. The Girl climbed out of her seat while the ride was moving. She was trying to fetch a stuffed toy that had apparently fallen out of the car. She wasn't really hurt to bad at all, Some web sites have reported they had to remove part of the girls leg but that is not in anyway true. She slipped out from under the lap-bar and then jumped off the ride. She just got a few scratches.

DCA is coming right along

I am starting to really get excitied about DCA. There are so many good things going on. Even though Paradise Pier isn't my favorite idea it looks wonderful, Remember that the theme of Paradise Pier is to look like a Waterfront Park!!!! But on one sad note, as I understand DCA is having trouble with there future workers. They are having trouble with the costumes and deals for long term workers. Lets hope this will get work out soon.

Other News

The new 45 years of Magic Parade has been fixed up for the better. The music now has more of an exciting beat. Plus they movied the Blue Fairy to the front of the Parade and most of the Characters to the back. This isn't the best Disneyland Parade but it is still fun to see. But make sure to see "Believe.. there's magic in the Stars" this show is truly breath taking.
Many of you have been asking about Animazment. As I understand there won't be any new shows there for at least three years!!! As of right now there is just no money for it. But Hey I like Animazment (but saddly Im one of the few).

It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow

Ever since the "New" Tomorrowland opened in 1998 many people have emailed me with their about how Tomorrowland should be. I always find it interesting how people can have some many diffrent feelings on what it good and what is... well... Bad.
I really like the new Tomorrowland From the fast sound of the Rocket Rods to the Observation. But one of the things in tomorrowland that looked more like they should be in Yesterdayland is the Autopia But it truely looks like it will be a "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" for the Autopia. I keep on getting so many wonderful emails from CM's and Imagineers telling me of what is going on. No longer will it be "The Freeways" But you will get a chance to go off road, in parks and on the freeway.
For those of you who still don't like Tomorrowland, As I understand there will be minor rehabs leading up to Disneylands 50th to make it look the best for the big 50th.

Esplanade: What is it?

Esplanade is the area between Disneyland, DCA and Downtown Disney. They have a water fountain, picnic area, lockers, ticket booths for both parks, and a Guest info Desk. It is starting to look really nice. On a side Note, from what I have heard Downtown Disney will be one of the Greatest parts about the new park. And for those of you who just call it a MALL well I don't think you have ever seen a mall like this
