Believe There's Magic in the Stars is a Hit!!!

For sometime now we have been talking about the new Firework Show. We have been giving you a backstage look at the new show. And it looks like we were right when we said "Believe... Theres Magic in the Stars" would be a new Disneyland Classic.
It is always sad to see classics go. That is how I felt when I first heard about the new show I was very sad to think "Fantasy in the Sky" would leave the park forever. But as you all know I had much faith that the new show would step up to the plate and be just as good or better then "Fantasy in the Sky".
This show includes classic music like "Step in Time" to the latest Tarzan Music. And one dream I have always had was to do a firework show with the music "Hellfire" from Hunckback. Well "Believe..." includes that too!!! As we reported (Might I add we were the first site with this info) Fireworks are shot up right behind the castle. This makes a wonderful show. Sadly this means the show looks really cheap and hardly anything from everwhere else in the park. You need to be at the Hub to make this a good show. Here is what Scott had to say about the show. (I think he pretty well sums up the whole show)
"Wonderful music, impressive displays of pyrotechnics, and a wonderful nod to the past. This is a show that only Disneyland could put on, and it's the best entertainment the Park has had since Fantasmic! premiered."
You need to go and check out Scott's site and read his wonderful report on the show. (Go to the Fantasyland Section of the site)

New Firework Show

Some news for you all about the new Firework Show "Believe there's Magic in the Star's". Mickey (No not the Mouse) the 73 year old man who has worked on the firework shows ever since Disneyland started doing them 43 years ago has been working heavily on the new show. And he has been trying to bring many of his Dreams to life with this show. Rumor has it at one point Fireworks will shoot up all around the park, also at the start of the show Tink will start as a ball of light flying around the castle. BUT the most important thing he wants to do would take the shuting down of the following rides: King Arthur Carrousel, Pinocchio, Peter Pan and Snow White and all of that area for about one hour befor the show. That way they can shoot Pixie Dust Fire Works right behind the Castle. This would truely add a lot to the show. But many who work at Disneyland don't want to see this happen for the reason of having to shut down 5 rides for about a total of 90 mins. What do you guys think? I would LOVE to see this happen but I guess we will have to wait till Feb 18 to see what happens!!!
